Canada beat up on Mexico again
VANCOUVER, British Columbia, Sept 4 (AFP) - - Canada scored three goals in four minutes of the second half to overpower Mexico 6-0 on Thursday in a tune up for the FIFA Women's World Cup.
Kara Lang, 16, led Canada with three goals, and the other goals were scored by Sasha Andrews, Rhian Wilkinson and Clare Rustad in front of more than 6,000 fans at Swangard Stadium.
It was the second lopsided victory against Mexico in five days for the Canucks. Canada has outscored Mexico 14-0 this week after an 8-0 thrashing in Edmonton on Sunday.
