The heavyweight contest of QF on now, I tipped Algeria to win it so I'll be rooting for them. Can see it being a tight affair.

1-0 Wilfred bony, not long after Ivory Coast hit the post, before then Algeria had made the better start. See what response they can muster now.

Algeria equalizes at 50' through Soudani but there is an offside of the guy that assisted him not spotted by the linesman.

Algeria should have scored, miss from inside the 6 yard box, just hat to put it anywhere but straight at the keeper.

Man City scores! Yaya's freekick perfectly met by Bony's header. 2-1 at 69'

That was a terrible miss by Soudani, almost certain that CIV was gonna score after that miss

Eurosport commentator: "many scouts are at this tournament but I doubt any of them will be impressed by Bailly for a late January signing"

Funny thing is Villarreal just signed him few days ago and for like 6 million euros

Ivory coasts defence has been shocking, Algeria should be able to score again here.

Ivorian keeper really wasting some time here, not sure if the injury is legit but I have doubts

Edit: no it can't be as he has fallen down three times now

whoah so the actually won...I considered Algeria the favorites here in this tourney

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Gervinho 3-1 on added time. Game over. Slimani's coming home.

Made me laugh after the physio treated his injured shoulder he then pulled him up by that shoulder.
