A very soft penalty indeed, but I understand the referee too as there was contact.

It ain't over yet but Burkina Faso should show more to beat the Ghanaians.

Burkina equalised at 60' by Bancé and they could have scored earlier but the keeper saved well. Ghana also had a huge chance to make it 2-0 but Gyan hit the post when he was completely alone in front of the keeper.

1-1 after 68' now.

Very entertaining match so far.

Coulibaly certainly should've been sent off!

Burkina Faso 1-1 Ghana - FT

It's extra time for this one and it comes with no surprise as the game has been really balanced with quite a few chances coming to both sides.

Was that a foul??? To me it seems more the defender is holding the attacker off than other way round...

Burkina Faso clearly more dangerous during extra time so far.

Burkina Faso have been the better team in ET, and had a goal disallowed on the stroke of halftime in the extra time.

Coulibaly should've been sent off twice for challenges on Gyan, only Burkina Faso deserve the win in extra time though...

Bance has missed like 3 golden chances in this ET, one cleared off the line

That was a clear penalty for Burkina Faso and now Pitroipa is sent off, what is that referee thinking??? What an idiot!

Huge blow to Burkina. Their best player Pitroipa seems to be fouled inside the box but the ref shows him a yellow for diving and, as it was the second, he gets sent off. Even if they reach the final this is a big loss for them. Shocking refereeing IMO.

CAF should seriously do something about Pitroipa's second yellow card, unacceptable that one, if Burkina reaches the final he should definitely be allowed to play.
