Would be interesting if Mali and Zambia KO'd the top tier African teams.

I have to say Mali is the tougher opponent than Zambia.

With that said I think both IVC and their cultural neighbor Ghana will advance.

Ghana has a h2h of 12-11 against IVC according to the FIFA site. But we'll reserve the energy for such discussion until we see who advances to the championship final.

No way Mali is a tougher opponent than Zambia and much less against the likes of CIV.

No matter what will happen in the semis, I would be very surprised if the Ivorians don't take this one home.

Still Ghana didn't impress me at all, but they're just very lucky with the draw although they still have to beat Zambia to reach the final.

Agree with Felipe, CIV are by far the strongest side and should actually quite easily win this tournament, although you never know what will happen in a final, it's not always the best team that wins...

Wow, what a start for the first semi. Ridiculous ref decision giving a ghost penalty to Ghana for a supposed handball...Gyan steps up...and misses. Not even 10' played.

Ghana are playing much better than what they played in the group stage and against Tunisia, Zambia cannot muster any offensive plays

The nicest offensive move of the game came from Zambia's combination at 32'. Shame about the final shot.

Almost 60' gone and it's still 0-0. Ghana goes on attacking more but never really threatening.

other than the free kick against Mali, Gyan has had a poor tournament, subbed out once again, Tagoe stinks (watch him score the winner...p)

77' 1-0 to Zambia from a nice curled shot of Mayuka from just outside the box.
