This will be the thread in which we will discuss players that have caught our eye or players that we think the rest of XT should watch.

Personally I expect Ahmed Hassan (Egypt) again to shine on this tournament. He has a point to prove as he's been crap for the last 6 months now ...

yeah the Kenyan, bloody wikipedia :frustrat:

thats a shame, because though he's not the best player ever. he had this demeanour about himself, whenever I saw him play for Kenya. He'd carry and fight for the team, pressing all the time and fighting for everything, whilst also giving teams problem with his running. He had good skill aswell.
Mind you this was when he was fresh faced, 17 year old.

And not to forget about Razak Omotoyossi of Benin.

Razak had a huge season with Helsingborg despite their dissapointing league appereance.

He's been vital together with Henrik Larsson in the UEFA Cup this season and played really well.

I believe he could help Benin a lot in terms of scoring and using his speed to open up spaces, but it's still going to be tough for them. A very good player and he's young as well.

Wouldn't surprise me if he left HIF in the summer if he has a good tournament.

Yes, Omotoyossi certainly looks good. I think he'll be off to another team pretty soon.

Oh, and Mali's Souleymane Dembele. He will surely be bought by AC Milan or Barcelona when they see him play.
