Most disappointing team

It has to be Morocco. Didn't even score a goal the whole tournament. Couldn't even beat Libya.

as for South Africa, I honestly didn't expect anything from them

Agree. Has to be Morocco because they have a lot of quality but showed nothing. South Africa was poor too, but not among the favourites anyway.

Yep we sucked big time. Not even a single goal scored. Still can't get over it.

Why do you say Angola? Those of us who have been following them since the qualifiers know that they are a bad team...

The Norwegian commentators on Eurosport both kept saying how South Africa is the biggest disappointment. Personally, I was most surprised by the poor showing of most of the teams that qualified for the World Cup 2006, especially Togo.

It's a tough call as to who is the most disappointing between Morocco and South Africa. Both are traditional continental powers who usually contend in this Cup and both went winless and goalless this year! At least Morocco drew two matches and lost another on a controversial penalty. But what did South Africa have to show for their trip to Egypt? Zero points and zero goals. Hard to get worse than that. Togo also didn't get any points but they at least scored goals and gave Cameroon their toughest game in the group stage. For me South Africa takes the "prize' as the biggest disappointment.

I would say Egypt is the most disappointing team. Are the players ex-prisoners? Does any of them even know what a fair play means? All they are doing is kicking other players and doing dirty tricks when the referee isin't watching.

When someone is injured and the ball is put out they don't give the ball back. They continue playing.

That's not football! That's streetball of jailball. How do they teach kids to play in Egypt? And why egyptian players play normaly in abroad but not in home. Does egyptian like fighting?

If this was a World Cup number of red cards would be so high.......

Nigeria, Senegal&Cameroon

Dirty tricks? Like what? I haven't seen any. There was only one incident against Libya with an elbow in a corner kick after the other player kicked ours, and the referee saw it and showed a yellow, but thats about it.. Justify or remain quiet

Like when?

Yes, egyptian is like fighting

Seriously, what ? Which players "play normally abroad"? We don't even have any players abroad on our starting team except Mido and Ahmed Hassan.. And Mido was injured for 2 out of the 4 games, so he didn't even play... Do you even know what you're talking about? Or do you mean abroad as in away from home? If thats the case, which "away from home" games did you see for Egypt (we only played in Africa last year).. Even I couldn't watch some of them because they're not broadcast easily.. So how can a guy in Finland watch our matches regularly?

Did you confuse Egypt for DR Congo? They had 3 players sent off so far (one for a kick in the balls, another for a kick in the chest behind the refs back) and they didn't earn a comment from you.

I find it unbelievable that people are complaining about Egypt's play in a African tournament where all other physically stronger teams get away with kick boxing football.

But its good to know our physically poor players like Tarek El Sayed, Ahmed Hassan, and the likes are giving you big guys a good fight..

And where's your logic? In the trash?

Our players had no interest in diving today because we'd like you to have a fully functional team against the Czech Rep.

So, f*ck off and cry elsewhere.

So yeah, please cry elsewhere.

Egypt and Tunisia for their diving and lack of fair play.
