I meant top 2 + fourth!

However, seriously, I think last season was a blip for Bundesliga that has been third league - was actually second at the start of last season if I am not mistaken - for several years.

Ok, but no serie A player wanted to test himself in the Bundesliga in the past season. The former serie A players I see in Bundesliga are maybe good/very good but all of them were rejects or are loans.

I would say that BL is more to it's normal now. They passed Serie A a few years ago due to EL. Now when Italy actually get results in EL they went by them like a bullet train.

Cristante to Roma official. Good signing, was also a Lazio target but I could not see Lotito paying 30m for him.

But if we get Laxalt, as rumoured now, we might end up getting the better player.

Irriducibili? No thanks, I'm a fan of Lazio.

Laxalt is more of a winger though. And no, he is really not a better player.

Latest on Justin Kluivert to Roma rumour is that a deal is close. 20 millions + bonuses.

Young Kluivert is a player I like. He impressed me when Ajax went far in EL in 16-17.

Roma are quite active this summer but yet to make a 'big' signing

Juventus were relegated to Serie B along with their reputation.

Why? Good offensive fullback, but 40m to not be able to defend for shit?

Yeah, different type of players to be sure. I would have certainly liked to have Cristante, but we know how many one-season wonders there have been so at that price it's a risky deal. If we can get Laxalt for 10m, I like that deal much more. A very dangerous player who I believe is ready to make the next step. Time will tell us, but I do feel that Cristante is overpriced because of his stats from last year, which he most likely won't ever repeat. Still, Roma need that type of a player and he's probably the best they can get realistically.

Having watched Kluivert jr a lot, I think that transfer is a huge gamble. This is not a Serie A player, not even close yet. An exciting talent, to be sure, there's definitely something of Robben in him. But he's very, very raw and prone to overdribbling. Kluivert and Under as wingers just seems too risky for a team of Roma's calibre.

Roma has also bid for Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and I believe he's a much better fit. Great football sense and lovely passing. Perhaps a bit slow, but in Serie A it is not necessarily that big of a problem.

Irriducibili? No thanks, I'm a fan of Lazio.

But hey, I just read from Corriere dello Sport who the other winger for Roma will be next season: CR7.

You left out a bunch of other clubs in that article as well. One thing for sure though, Roma has like 2 billion more chances of signing him than Lazio

There were some rumours of Roma signing Wahbi Khazri over here too, he wasn't very good at Sunderland but has apparently been a lot better back in France.

Cristante joins on an initial loan deal that will run from 1 July 2018 until 30 June 2019, for a fee of 5 million.

As part of the agreement, the Giallorossi have an obligation to complete the permanent signing of the player for an additional 15m upon the completion of various sporting targets.

The overall agreement also includes a number of performance-related bonuses, based on the achievements of both AS Roma and the player, worth up to a maximum of 10m.

Cristante has reached an agreement with the Giallorossi on a contract that will run until 30 June 2023.

Not impressing during a single season at a dysfunctional team like Sunderland should not count much against a player. Not that I know anything about this guy, really.

Generally, this summer's transfer market will be extremely interesting. The World Cup summers always are. You'd think that with modern data analysis and extensive scouting systems a tiny sample of NT games wouldn't change a player's transfer profile too much, but in many cases it definitely will.

Maybe Roma will keep Alisson instead of selling him, maybe Napoli will replace Reina with a goalie who is better than Perin, maybe Milan will keep Donnarumma and Reina will be his reserve, but if these conditions aren't respected we have yeat another evidence of the reason why no club in Italy can challenge Juventus for the scudetto. Juventus had Szczesny, who might be a proper replacement of Buffon or not. He might have become a liability, but now they also have the one I consider the best Italian goalie of the past season and Juventus have two good options which could make for Buffon.
