It's nice to see Colombia was victorious against Venezuela,
I am an Italian myself, but I have allways been a great fan of
Colombian football. The passion and the energy is so present
there, it's like a religion. It's just like I feel about Lazio and the
Italian national team. I would just like to say... ole Colombia!!!

I can go along with most of those scores. Is Uruguay at home? If so they might win 1-0. If not they'll lose 2-0. I like Uruguay a great deal, but they can't score goals to save their life. It's a shame they can't get better cooperation with their European based stars and their clubs. I don't think I've ever seen a national team get screwed so badly when it comes to calling up the full squad. Uruguay has great talent, but they rarely ever field their best team.

I saw some of the goals by Paraguay on CNN World Sport, man, they were awesome goals.
Here are the detailt of the match between Uruguay and Chile

Uruguay wins 2x1 against Chile at the Centenário stadium in Montevideo this afternoon, match valid for the qualifying rounds of WC2002. This was a fair result as Uruguay sought more the goal. All goals were scored in the first half:
At 36' Dario Silva (Malaga-Spain) opened the score from a Chilean defender rebound.
At 39' Ivan Zamorano (Inter-Milan) equalized in a penalty kick
At 41' the Uruguayan victory goal, by defender Paolo Montero (Juventus-Turin) on a rebound from keeper Tapia.
With his result, Uruguay reaches 6 points and joins Argentina at the top of the table, however Argentina plays tomorrow against Bolivia. Chile is now in a very uncomfortable situation with only 1 point in 3 matches played.

URUGUAY
Fabian Carini;
Gustavo Méndez, Alejandro Lembo, Paolo Montero, Darío Rodríguez;
Fabián O´Neill, Pablo García, Gianni Guigou, Nicolas Olivera;
Darío Silva (Diego Alonso) and Alvaro Recoba (Guillermo Giacomazzi).
Coach: Daniel Passarella

CHILE
Nelson Tapia;
Ricardo Rojas, Jorge Vargas, Pedro Reyes, Rafael Olarra (Sebastián Rozenthal);
Marcos Villaseca, Pablo Galdames, Fabián Estay (Claudio Nuńez), Rodrigo Tello;
Iván Zamorano and Marcelo Salas.
Coach: Nélson Acosta
