[Group C] Uruguay vs Peru *Match Discussion*

With Brazil and Argentina having disappointing performances in their opening matches, Uruguay finally have the chance to hold their positions as strong contenders for the cup. After a successful World Cup campaign Uruguay are looking to continue their success in the Copa America, but this time they are playing their opening match against Peru, hardly tough opposition missing Vargas and Pizarro, but as we have seen in Argentina and Brazil's matches anything is possible.

It will be an interesting encounter. And Uruguay are the clear favorites, just eager to see how Farfan fares!

Watching Cavani, Suarez, and Forlan all in the same lineup is dream stuff and I think we may get a few goals on show. 4-1 Uruguay.

I think Uruguay will control the whole match and het the full amount of possible points, but Peru sneak a goal past them making the result:
Uruguay 3-1 Peru
Suarez x2/ Guerrero
Forla

Come on Uruguay. Rooting for Lugano

Is it true that if you don't use it, you lose it?

The game is about to start and can't wait. There's a great atmosphere out there. Should be fun to watch(unless you're a Peru fan).

Nice start from Uruguay. They have earned a lot of set pieces and have a lot of the possesion.

Almost an own goal from Peru after Forlan gave a nice cross, the defender barely kept it out of goal. We're 8' in and no goal so far.

Uruguay have had a lot of runs/breakaways giving them good chances. They're getting lots of crosses into the box.

Free kcik RIGHT outside the penalty area for Peru in the 16' but they miss the goal off a deflection from the Uruguayans. They get a corner kick.

PERU Scores!! They got a great chance from a nice lob pass and then shook the goalie just enough to score on an open goal. 25' from Guerrero.
