The winners will be....

Brazil hasn't necessarily impressed in their last two friendlies.

Uruguay look dangerous in attack but they will concede goals like it or not.

Haven't seen too much of Argentina to be honest, while Paraguay and Colombia are ok sides.

Rest I guess can be written off. Dagoods no doubt reckons Farfan will become topscorer.

It'll be close in the knockout rounds, wouldn't be surprised to see Argentina stunned on their own soil.

I just have a funny feeling that Uruguay might nick it.
Both of Argentina and Brazil have holes that Uruguay could exploit.

Do Uruguay have a good back up for Forlan?

Against Holland he looked pretty worn out.... age catching up to him

The got the two youngsters Lodeiro and Ramirez. Lodeiro was a hotshot till an year ago, but has faded in Ajax. Ramirez was pretty good for Bologna this past season in Serie A. Wanted by a few top clubs.

But both are inexperienced and its probably too much for them to play in the hole.

I have a feeling that Argentina will end their trophyless period.

But Uruguay is a definitive candidate.

Mano is rebuilding the Brasilian team and I wouldn't be surprised at all if we lost to a more consistent unit, like Forlan's team. Our players' individual qualities may very well push us forward all the way, and we may even win the whole thing again like we did last time, on the strenght of decisive individual performances. But I still haven't seen Mano's NT perform as an actual cohesive team, and that makes a lot of difference. Hopefully we'll see evolution on that front, and Brasil won't rely so heavily on individual bursts of inspiration as we have in the last Copa... Because individual players can be marked, but a fluent team is much harder to pin down.

Uruguay will probably play with Cavani - Suarez upfront, and Forlan as back up.

Unless he is physically incapable of playing, no way will Forlan be a backup.

Should be an excellent Copa America. Argentina and Brazil are favorites, but Uruguay are massive contenders themselves. Paraguay and Chile are decent sides who have also posed problems for the big nations and could make a far run and Peru seem to have got a good squad together for once. Venezuela and Bolivia have some good players of their own and can be tricky sides to negotiate past. Costa Rica's young squad might really struggle to do anything but Mexico's squad is a pretty good and interesting one with players like GdS, Torres, JdS, and Reyes all in the fold.

It is going to be a settlement:
I believe Argentina is going to win this Copa and Brazil the next world cup, or less likely the other way around; very very likely Messi knocking Brazil out in one of these tournaments with some heroic performance or a hattrick.

In either case, the next following years I believe can be like a la liga, with Argentina and Brazil being like Barcelona and Madrid, but still this Copa America can be very exciting with a revived Uruguay, we will see..
