Quarterfinals: México vs. Paraguay

It will be a tough match that México should win, not without struggling.

Sorry, my question was inappropiate. Of course a lot of people will watch this match because México is a great team with a lot of young stars who has been growing a lot in recent years and is a serious contender to win this cup.

Now, if it were a Paraguay-Peru game, I will be asking that question, because both teams are way too boring.

Anyway:

¡Viva México, cabrones!

Siete estrellas es más bonito.

The Paraguas WILL send Hugol and his cuates back to the Tortilla land !!!!

If the USA "A" team beat them at the Gold Cup...Paraguay can easily do it too !!!! (Paraguas a great NOTCH above the best USA has now)

Ho can Mexico play 2nd place Paraguay, while Brazil who finished below Mexico play 3rd place Chile?

what jokke from CONMEBOL, i thought Gold Cup was stupid. So whats the point in getting 1st if you would of have an easier match if you finish 2nd?

So both Mexico and Chile hurt themself by playing to that 0-0 draw... maybe they should have just fixed it in Chile's favor. p

btw i find it funny how after Mexico beat Brazil people were saying that with that loss Brazil screwed themself and they would have to face Argentina in the semifinal if they don't win the group. In the end Mexico did win the group but somehow things worked out differently and CONMEBOL is still looking at a Brazil-Argentina final lol

It looks like this is the only quarterfinals game which will not be a hammering (I guess...).

This is the most exciting match for me in the quarterfinals.
the other ones were easily predictable.brazil, argentina and uruguay have upper hands on the teams they faced.

this one is close..I predict unlike many others paraguay going thru

I am with the guaranies on this one.
I always liked Paraguay after their display in France 98 when gamarra fell crying to the ground after the Blanc goal and Chilavert picked him up yelling "levantate hijueputa!" More touching than Brave Heart meets Central do Brasil.

Eastern Europe rocks.

I read somewhere how some famous guy said that Paraguay "is nowhere and known for nothing". Then, when he arrived there, he fell in love with it, and lived there for many years.

Here's a sight that doesn't come around that often.

At 17:15 local time this evening, Mexican fans can watch their senior team (vs Paraguay at the Copa quarter-finals) and juniors (vs New Zealand at U20 in Canada) simultaneously.
