OK, I am very surprised to hear about this guy after last nights classic Uruguay-Argentina, because i realise he used to be a Real Madrid player. In the 98/99 season we had loaned him out to Racing Santander, where he was average. After that nobody knew what had happened to him, I once heard he was in the Serie C loaned out, yes still a Real Madrid player!!!, but no one could give conformation. And now, when i totally forgot about long hair Frederico, he pops up in the south american derby, and even more he SCORES! Wow! What has been happening with this guy for tha past 2 years? I finally expect some kind of info

He's playing in Defensor Sporting from Uruguay.

that´s right , he´s playing in defensor sporting, he´s doing well , he scores a lot. but i don´t think he´ll last much longer in the national team , as dario silva will return after bolivia match and recoba won´t be substituted. i don´t think he´s still owned by Real.
