Perugia’s young Chilean striker Héctor Tapia is on the verge of signing for Brazilian club Palmeiras.
The 22-year-old Tapia has been a Chilean Under-17 and Under-23 international. He began his career with Colo Colo before moving to Perugia last season.
It was rumored that the player would either move to the Mexican league or go back to Colo Colo, but Palmeiras have made the best offer for him.
According to the Brazilian press, an agreement has been reached between the two clubs.
I think this is good news for Tapia. He has been in good form for Chile and I think he will get a better go with Palmeiras.
