Venezuela 2 - SA 1

VICTORY!!!

R. D. Páez (31 min.) and Arango (second half injury time)

What a game!!!

We dominated it entirely. The SA players tried to overwhelm us with their speed and strength and, at times they did so, but we showed who's the authority in playmaking and ball posession. The Arango - R.D. Páez duo was creating all kinds of goal situations today and produced the first goal. Vera was also brilliant. Arango is just too big for the mexican league. We played the last part of the second half with 11 players because all the substitutions had been used, R.D. was a little resented of a knee and he didn't want to risk himself in a friendly when we have the Chile and Bolivia games so near.

ˇˇˇARRIBA LA VINOTINTO!!!

Venezuela won the game but they made some mistakes that they can't afford to do against Chile..South Africa thought that using speed and strength against Venezuela will cause all sort of difficulties but they failed. Chile will not only use speed but also its tactical awareness to overwhelm Venezuela..

ps THIS IS NOT THE REAL SOUTH AFRICA NATIONAL TEAM anyway

nonetheless nice game for Venezuela!!!

Je m'en fous.........

tu non vedrai nessuna cosa al mondo maggior FORZA INTERNAZIONALE!!!!

I noticed them. They also did and didn't fet demoralized by this. However, everytime they did one of this mistakes, they kept insisting in recovering posession and sometimes even managed not to lose the attack situation. They always tried to make it up for their mistakes and always kept trying until they got the result. Their flaws didn't make them collapse. Neither disallowed goals or missed penaltied.

That used to happen before. In the past, Venezuela sometimes played great games, but when several chances were missed or when they got unfair calls from the referees or things like that, their morale collapsed and thought that their chance to win the game was over. Therefore, they used to fail to score and received goals against them instead. Nowadays they still miss many chances, but they know that the game isn't over until the referee blows the last whistle and the goals are apperaing.

A great work on the defense is also being made.

It was a good thing I didn't watch the Real Madrid game instead.
