I think we can see the true "la roja" in La Paz!!!

It's the strongest squad that Chile can make.Almost all the regulars of the previous matches plus
-Jorge Vargas, who has games in his feet now, after his transfer to Empoli.
-Claudio Maldonado! He's back in NT!!!He'll play an official match for us after a long period...
-David Pizarro with no more injury problems.
-The best of all...Marcelo Salas is back,in form and ready this time to play after 2 years!!!
-Seba Gonzalez and Rodrigo Valenzuela are in the squad again and if needed they will play. The same for Villaroel who seemed to be lost after France'98.

Adding the likes of Contreras, Olarra, Melendez, Pinilla and Navia why not conquering La Paz?It's maybe the most important game till now, cause the result will affect Chile's goals and morale for the next of the tournament.

Some regulars have already began to train in a high altitude in order to be prepared for the match.

Vaaamos Vaaamos Chileeenos!!!

With a healthy Salas that has scored in his last 4 games for river.

I wish Rodrigo Tello or Sebastian Pardo would be called up

I think we can bounce back.

I don't follow Argentinian league much...but I did notice that El Matador is scoring again and playing some of his great usual football. It will be hard for us to stop him...

prediction: Bolivia 2 - 1 Chile

:fero: !!!VAMOS BOLIVIA!!! :fero:

Chile coach Juvenal Olmos has given his blessing for former national striker Ivan Zamorano to try and persuade America-Mexico to release two players early for a South American World Cup qualifier.
Striker Reinaldo Navia and defender Ricardo Rojas are the players Chile want released five days before their match against Bolivia on March 30 and former America-Mexico star Zamorano believes his good ties with the club could help persuade them to let the players travel early, instead of the regulation two days before the game.

"Zamorano has a great relationship with the officials of America so he has offered himself for travelling and to talk to them and we have accepted", said Chile coach Olmos.

"Zamorano will try to convince America to let us have the two players five days before the match against Bolivia that is very important for us."

Zamorano added: "I am very happy for being able to help the national team. I hope to have luck with the officials of America and that they let the players come five days before the match against Bolivia."

Bolivia has got to be the worse team in South America. If they were to play their home games on sea level I doubt they would gather more that 5 points the entire tourney.

Chile should win by a single goal margin.

Hurrah for Paquador!

Yes,i kept some money and by 90% i'll take a ticket's packet of Greece games.

...And i know how it is not to have seen your fav team, being inside the stadium.
I was expecting Chile to come here for the Olympics this summer but they lost in the final round of the quals.
I was unlucky other years too, when i was praying for a club of Salas to play in Greece but nothing...this year Salas is out of Juve, but Juve came to Greece!!

Right now Bolivian NT sucks, the disorganization is such that I have to admit we are probably the easiest team to face right now. As for playing at home; if other teams came to La Paz without being so scared of the altitude and instead focusing on their football we would probably lose many matches at home with our current form; but fortunately for us lot of teams come to La Paz peeing their pants solely thinking about the altitude and make our job easier

It will be a very close match, 2-1 for Bolivia, with Castillo and Botero scoring for Bolivia and "El Matador" for Chile

OOOLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!

That was a really great win affected by "el matador"'s return!!!!

Bolivia - Chile 0-2 with goals by Moises Villaroel in 38' of the first half and Mark Gonzalez win's securing one in the second half.

Seven points now for Chile and according to the next games' results we can even reach the first 5 spots!!!

Finally,Chileans were ready to face La Paz altidute, the main opponent,as Bolivian team seem crap.

colocolo,i always admired Chileans' habit to score with the head when the team has not such a big average height.

Everything goes well till now,and let's hopeto see the team in German stadiums.
