Otilino Tenorio finally arrived in Quito. He was delayed by his club Al-Nasser because of a game they wanted him to play in mid week. The FEF complaint to FIFA got him to arrive in time, though Bolillo Gomez has said that he will not consider him for the game against Venazuela. He more than likely will be against Brasil.

Bolillo Gomez said that if Ecuador doesn't get at least six points out of the first 4 games. He is out of the team.!!!

Basically he is not only putting pressure on himself but also on his players who adore him. It will be interesting to see if he is true to his words though to be honest Ecuador will get those 6 points this year.

Brasil away, Paraguay away and Peru at home.

Not easy eh!!!

In the last qualifiers in these games Ecuador beat Venezuela 2-0, lost to Brasil 2-3, lost to Paraguay 1-3 and beat Peru 2-1. Total 6 points

Ecuador is concentrating behind doors the last couples of days before the game.

Ecuador won 2-0

The score was deserved. Both teams still needs to improve a lot.

Ecuador seems to have started where they left off.
