4 goals from the top three loosers of BvB, impressing... if even the crap starts to perform, Dortmund is really a hot favourite for the title. But I think Leverkusen is still superior...
moreover, Dortmund is probably going to loose Lehmann for the last matches

Well, that's quite a big advantage....for Dortmund
I never liked this Lehmann, but after the last matches (Schalke, Bayern, Freiburg)....

If the referee would have seen it, Dortmund definitely wouldn't have won it that easy.

I agree on Evanilson. But what do u have against Koller and Dede? Guess those three were meant.
I think Dede is a very solid defender, young and really good. And about Koller: he misses some chances, sure, but his his physical play he is very much Dortmunds MVP.

It's only words...

Koller is a waster... I agree, he is pretty valueable for Dortmund, with his air control But still, how can a man that calls himself a striker be such a bad finisher I prefer Amoroso and my discovery of the season, Ewerthon, every time....

Dede is very inconstant IMO... he is more skilled than Evanilson, but still.. and I dont like his attitude, he is a very hard player with a lot of nasty fouls but on the other side, the biggest crybaby if he has to "swallow" a tough tackle by himself.

Jez, I am not Lehmanns biggest fan either... man, he almost cost Milan a scudetto with just 5 matches played or so But lately, he performs very well and in the moment, I think he is the deserved #2 in Germany, something I did not see this way in the last years (since he left Schalke). However, with regard to his attitude, he is an arrogant, unfair ******* and I hope he get banned for the rest of the season.

BTW, great comeback of Cologne last match Man, it looks bad for them, but still, thats the moral u have to show to get out of the mess. I dont want to see them relegate (Freiburg neither, thats even sadder imo) but hey, we got st pauli, rostock and cottbus, why cant they relegate?

Lehmann . He isn't a deserved #2, Butt is at least as good and not such an a$$hole. Lehmann must be banned and thrown out of the national team...

I agree, or lets say... at least I would consider this... a ban from the national team.
Though, regarding his performance, he deservs to be in the team more than ever since he left Schalke (I think he is better than Butt rite now, though I dont mind to have Butt as Kahns back up, usually u dont need the 2nd goalie anyway )
But he has clearly overstepped the line lately with his nasty attacks... Zorc tries to compare him with Kahn, but I think that's a pathetic attempt... kahn got his outbursts, but they either arent that mean and nastry or they hit his own players And that's no foul, per definition

So the NT should be picked by character? The best players have to play - no matter what they did at their clubs.

It's the same in England - how can Lee Bowyer seriously not be called up???

The standard of the performance matters - nothing else.

Does anybody btw think Thomas Hitzlsperger should be given a chance by Rudi?

It's only words...

No, that's not how life works. Nowhere, neither in school nor job nor anywhere else. One has to behave well, not just do his work well...
That's also why Daum couldn't become national team coach, you simply can't have guys in such positions who take drugs, are criminals or behave like a$$holes.
"I rather would want to loose with Germany than having such people in the team" (my personal opinion, unlike the text above which is objective).

About Hitzlsperger? Definitely not yet .

Germany is losing anyway but that is another topic...

Anyone who plays for Germany is shabby so why exclude Lehmann?

Lehman should not be called to the NT, for what he did in that match. he just wanted to show us that he just learned a good chinese Kongfu.

to be a good player, first, one have to be a good man, honest, polite, and calm.

germany NT fired Effenberg in 1994 and suspended him for five years because of his bad gesture, Beckham did the same thing in 2000, why was he not fired?

I'll tell ya... cause Germany got style, and England, well, you figure...

I agree with Frank, we are talking about football, not about boxing or some American prof sport where playing the ghetto bad a$$ might be appreciated.
A player like Lehmann shouldnt represent our country, unlike others, we can afford to keep him out.
We dont have to win the next WC, we are not the ones that havent won a title for over 3 decades
We can wait till 06 if we have to

I havent followed any Bundesliga closely enough in the last weeks cause of exams, so I have no real idea who this hitzelsperger or whatever guy is :undecide:

FRANKFURT, Germany, March 19 (AFP)
Borussia Dortmund's German international goalie Jens Lehmann was slapped with a four-match ban on Tuesday by the German football federation (DFB) for violence.
The 32-year-old was found guilty of having reacted violently against Freiburg's Malian midfielder Soumaila Coulibaly during last Sunday's Bundesliga match which Borussia won 5-1.
The DFB slammed Lehmann's "anti-sporting behaviour" when he kicked Coulibaly in the thigh when both players were on the ground.
Borussia said Tuesday that they would be fining their goalie, who is a replacement for Oliver Kahn on the German team.
Lehmann apologised to Coulibaly and his Dortmund teammates for his behaviour.
Lehmann had already been criticised this season for his aggressive behaviour against Bayern striker Giovane Elber and Leverkusen's Ulf Kirsten.

According to sport1, it was a weak punishment

I disagree, it was appropriate, not too hard, not too weak at all, justified....

The away matches @ Stuttgart and Lautern will be tough, and every player missing might be a big malus. But I think Laux will do a fine job, so no need to worry for Dortmund fans
