[BL- Matchday 23] Borussia Dortmund vs TSG Hoffenheim

Bundesliga Matchday 23
28.02.2016 - kick-off: 17:30

vs

possible line-ups for the match this afternoon:

big question marks behind Hummels and Pisczek, therefore a new backline with Schmelle-Bender-Subotic-Ginter very possible. Thought Tuchel would rest also Micky for this match but seems that our coach wants to keep him in rythm.

This will be interesting. Hoffenheim under Stevens and I would say 5-0, but Hoffenheim now might be very different.

I don't think Hoffenheim was any worse under Stevens, he is a very good coach. Unfortunately he coached a lot of teams with very few quality players recently.

A home game is a must win, I just hope we don't struggle without Hummels since he's the one who initiate most of our attacks...

If you see no difference between Hoffenheim under Stevens and Hoffenheim under Nagelsmann then I seriously don't know what to say.

And yes, Stevens is a good coach, but doesn't mean every combination works. He or his style and Hoffenheim didn't work out.

Anyway, hilarious Bürki mistake for 0-1.

Good comeback, but the red card changed it. Hoffenheim was the better team until then and I don't think Dortmund would have scored against 11. But that's all theory while in the end you have a 3-1 home win.

You can see that nagelsmann's game approach fits way better to hoffenheim than Stevens one. We had problems against hoffenheim in the last appearances as well and they showed our weak areas again today.

Rudys Red card clearly gave us the Chance to Come back into the game and also gundogan entering the game in the second half helped us a lot to become more dominant

sliding tackle against PEA from behind, luckily he did not hit him with full power. 3 games ban is a bit too much for that kind of tackle.

Damn I never finished the game, I left it at 68 mins or so and it looked like we were heading for a crash course but I'm glad we turned things around and won the game, now we have to swing by Darmstadt before we welcome Bayern Munchen...

I saw the highlights since I posted that comment and even the red card seemed very harsh to me. I've seen worse tackles end with just a yellow card. It definitely changed the course of the game.
