Annoying. Finally a team in Dortmund that I want to watch on a Friday evening and then I have a team tennis match.

I really hope Tuchel comes up with good plan to beat his old side...This is a game we cannot afford to lose...

I think Matze must start in his newly RB position since he's got an eye for a goal or an assist lately and its time for Miki, Shinji and Marco to return to form along with Burki. Though we can't do as we please at the Coface arena but anything less than a win shall not be excepted. Hehe should we pick up a draw or lose this match I would definitely go and hang myself...

would not be the best start in our forum here... p

think Mainz away is always a bit tricky as they also like to play football and create their chances. Efficiency will decide this one and i hope Reus will be a bit more clinical than with the National team... We have to get back on track with a win here.

possible line-ups for tomorrow:

Karius - Balogun, Bell, Bungert, Bengtsson - Baumgartlinger, Latza - Clemens, Malli, Jairo - Muto

Bürki - Ginter, Sokratis, Hummels, J.-H. Park - Weigl - Reus, Gündogan, Kagawa, H. Mkhitaryan - Aubameyang

we really have to be carefully with their offense. Clemens, Malli and Muto are in really good shape and are prototypes of the players which cause problems for the likes of Hummels/Socratis/Ginter. anyway, think it will be a nice match to watch

We have a pretty good record against Mainz bar last season where we lost by 2 goals to nil, but hey they lost Park and Okazaki so we'll have to use that to our advantage...

Now that's what I'm talking about, this win is what we needed in order to regain confidence. We could've scored more especially the penalty miss by Reus but hey we won and we didn't concede so that's all that matters. Now I'm counting on Werder Bremen to pull up a surprise on Bayern.... This is a good welcome for D_Unit lol now he won't hang himself...

I think both sides played well but Mainz were simply not good enough to get a point. What a save on that Freekick by Burki, he showed great quality there. All in all our players really came to party and great assists by Aubameyang. Lastly thank God that penalty didn't go in because it looked dubious....

right answer to the right time. solid performance without too much brilliance but after 2 draws and a loss, the goal was clearly to regain confidence. PEA created a lot of trouble to Mainz' defence and happy that Reus got his goal in the first half. the missed penalty kick would hurt in a big game but keeping in mind that it was neither a foul nor in the penalty box, nobody is worrying much.
