vs

Game 1 after a press conference many of us did not expect.

Very good performance today, don't believe Paderborn had a single shot on target all game. The front four linked well and delivered, not too often I've been able to say that this season. Obviously not a great mark to go off of considering the opponent but still encouraging to see after Klopp's announcement in midweek. Hope the players continue on this note and ensure that he leaves on the best note possible.

Frankfurt and Hoffenheim dropped points again so the seventh spot in the league which guarantees EL football is up for grabs now. Those are our next two opponents as well with the Bayern semi sandwiched in between so will be an important week to prepare for. Hopefully Reus will be available for those tests, should be judging by reports.

that was really a good performance, especially in the second half. in the first 45 minutes we had some problems to create good chances. After Micki's goal the players again had their confidence back and the crowd of course was just at his best. Was really nice to see Kagawa scoring after a long drought.
