Jorg Heinrich has returned to Borussia Dortmund after finally sealing his £3.2 million move back to the Bundesliga.
Heinrich will be looking to improve his fortunes after a disappointing second season with The Viola, after transferring from Borussia for £8.5 million in 1998.
The move, while giving Heinrich the chance to re-launch his career back in his homeland, has increased fears among the Fiorentina faithful.
Heinrich is the third big name to leave the Artemio Franchi Stadium this summer, following Gabriel Batistuta and Pasquale Padalino, and there had been fears that left back Moreno Torricelli would follow them.
He, though, has announced that he wants to stay and is not interested in a move to Lazio.
