You need to have balls to give a second yellow to a German for diving. Hats off to this ref.

Serbia couldn't take advantage of playing 11 vs 10 in the last 20' and looked happy with one point.

He's been playing well making a great CB pair with Paulo Oliveira. I think he is ready for Liverpool.

What can still happen in Group A:

Germany (+3 goal difference) will be through with a draw irrespective of what happens in the other game. If they win, they are guaranteed top spot and to face the runners-up from Group B in the second semi-final on Saturday. If they lose, they will still progress if the other match finishes in a draw courtesy of their superior head-to-head record against Denmark. If they lose and Serbia win, then group goal difference will come into play as the two sides drew their opening fixture. If Germany lose and Denmark win then they are out.

Czech Republic (+3) will be through with a win and out if they lose. A draw will be enough if Serbia win the other match, but not if it finishes in a draw as Denmark beat the Czechs in their opening game.

Denmark (-2) will be through with a win. A draw would also be enough providing Czech Republic do not beat Germany. Lose and they are out.

Serbia (-4) need a win against Denmark to keep their semi-final hopes alive. If they win and Germany do likewise then they will be through; should they win and the Czech Republic win too, then Serbia would finish level on four points with Germany. In this scenario, overall goal difference would come into play as the teams drew their opening game.

Note: The four semi-finalists at the U21 EURO will automatically qualify for the Olympics as Europe's representatives. Should England reach the last four, they will not take part in next summer's tournament. Instead, the two third-placed teams in the Czech Republic will contest a play-off on 28 June to take their place.

Denmark opes the score against Serbia through Rasmus Falk at 21'.

In the other match still 0-0 between Germany and Czech Republic.

As things stand Denmark wins the group above Germany.

At HT...

Denmark 1-0 Serbia
Czech Republic 0-0 Germany

Serbia was much better than Denmark but a couple of Danish counters were enough to put them ahead on the score.

The other match has been quite balanced with very few real goal chances for both sides.

Two minutes played in the second half and Denmark makes 2-0 through Viktor Fischer after some serious pathetic defending by the Serbs.

Germany opens the score at 55' through Schulz after some really poor defending by the Czechs.

Right now Germany leads the group and Denmark joins them in the Semis and in the Olympics.

The Czechs equalize at 66' thanks to Krejci and the group standings change again.

Denmark leads the group followed by Germany.

Denmark and Germany qualify for the Olympics, wonder what kind of squad Germany send with Euro 2016 and the Bundesliga season kicking off usually when the Olympics start

The Czechs still will have a chance to qualify if England finish in the top 2 tomorrow

Please enter a password for your user account. Note that passwords are case-sensitive. Try to avoid choosing short (like '1'), simple (like 'abcd') and easy to guess passwords (like a name of your favorite team, player, etc)! Complex and long enough passwords, that consists of random string of alphabet and numerical characters, are almost impossible to be stolen and misused.
