That tall CB they had just had the worst game he could possibly dream of, despite scoring. So terrible.
Danilo I thought was a standout in the midfield, he's a great 2-way player and seems to really improved athletically/physically from the U-15 in terms of defense - on offense he needs to polish his accuracy, but he has great close control and a very sharp mind as far as seeing a few steps ahead.
Auro if he grows in stature will be a very nice fullback - he came through the back door cause of an injury in the Sudamericano and doesn't look back since - I thought he had an impressive game on both sides of the pitch.. very sharp and instinctive defensively, although his size bothers him and he gambles too much(tho hardly leaves his feet) - and is tidy and composed on offense with good technical ability and speed.
Would have wanted more from Mosquito as far as going forward with the ball - I think he is capable, but he always seems to stop himself... on one hand it's great he knows his role - but on the other I think he has the ability to be more adventurous offensively with the ball.
He played exactly the same in the U-15 and the Sudamericano, but I hope he'll try to expand this area some.
Nathan gave a great show whenever he was on the ball, and gives resembles of Adryan from a few years ago - let's hope for his sake he continues to grow physically, but the kid is very talented.
The defense was hardly bothered but that CB Eduardo seemed like a real physical/athletic specimen, will be interesting to see how they do when challenged, but with his frame\speed it's hard to overlook the potential.
Don't waste your time on jealously; sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind.
The race is long, and in the end - it's only with yourself.
