Great news guys, Eurosport bought the rights to air the NextGen Series games (I assume both in the main channel and Eurosport 2) - for the next 4 years.

They'll air atleast 18 games per season.

Don't waste your time on jealously; sometimes you're ahead, sometimes you're behind.

Non CL sides to not be let in future editions

Hilarious considering Feyenoord who are better than Ajax who finished 2nd last season would therefore destroy most teams in the competition

I thought UEFA had no say in the organisation of NGS as this is a completely private tournament but I'm not surprised with this. It's funny how UEFA tries their best to show a more "human" and less greedy face than for example FIFA and afterwards they do things like this.

That's really sad if true. What level the senior players are at (Europa/CL) has nothing to do with what level their youth academy might be at, they are totally unrelated. I mean Tottenham have a pretty good youth academy, now what happens if they don't get top4 this season? They get kicked out of the nextgen? More elitism from UEFA and totally ridiculous.

Just a heads up..

NextGen - Inter Milan V Liverpool (K.O. - 2pm UK time)

Conor Coady, Andre Wisdom, Suso, Samed Yesil and Adam Morgan will be unavailable as they instead travel with the senior squad for the Europa game against Young Boys.

They're important players for us, so can't say I'm confident about this one.

From what I understood when reading about these things in the summer UEFA is starting their own official youth tournament. since that one will "steal" the teams from this, this one will cease to exist. The UEFA one will have the same teams that qualified for UCL (so we will miss it. ), while this one was by invitation.

But it is not like this is a less greedy one. I mean seriously, when was private companies less greedy than others? I already read that Milan declined this due to sponsor issue. This one at the start was overly leaned towards English teams too, with 6 right now.

Great job Filipe.

We won 1-0 vs Dortmund with a goal by Benassi btw, we've got 6 points.
