Goetze

No bigger team is after him? Bayern? Manu? Chelsea?...the only thing against him is that he looks a bit fragile a la Aimar (even smilar style) and I can see defenders going nasty after him. And more important to see if he manteins his level and if this happens to see if learns to live with his own name, pero juega lindo, promete el pendejo...

Looks like perfect target for any huge EPL club...

Pendejo.

Aimar was awesome. Where's he at now?

Without it gravity is just gravy.

Benfica...

Goetze is the kind of kid for Manu, go for it and make Wenger cry (even more).

Well he is definitely not fragile. There is a reason why a team mate called him recently a "beast" because Götze bulked up so much in the last 1-2 years. He is not a player who gets bullied off the ball.
The reason that no big team is after him is that Dortmund made it clear that they won't sell him even if someone would offer 30 mil. Euro and Götze said himself that he has zero interest in a move at this moment.
The boy still lives with his parents and has just no intention or reason to change the club.
As long as Dortmund is successful (=> regular CL football) I see him another 2-3 years at Dortmund.
What can be said is that there was never a 18year old player who had a better BL season than Götze. He just turned 19 recently and is probably the best offensive midfielder in the league next to Robben and Ribery.
I can honestly say that I never saw a more talented player in the BL (I follow the league since 20 years) and that I have no doubts that he isn't just a one season wonder.
If he stays healthy he will become a big player.

Thanxs man...

BTW when fragile I meant more than anything in the sort of style a la Aimar he has when carrying the ball, he floats there. The way he faces defenders might get him foul like no tomorrow like Aimar was in his career and more if he goes to the Islands.

Götze covers a lot of ground and that is another reason why he's so successfull. He doesn't just run in dead spaces, his movement is very intelligent and he's also a player who knows how to make the final pass in several aspects of the game, whether it's a set-piece, cross into the box or a through ball. Dortmund play a very demanding type of game and Götze fits in perfectly. I remember when I first saw him in the U17 Euros 2009 which were held in Germany, he wasn't outstanding in that tournament, it was first when he represented Germany in the U17 World Cup, six months later, that I really got impressed with him. I knew he'd eventually get into Dortmund's first team rather fast after watching him in that tournament because he was the most outstanding player individually alongside guys like Isco and perhaps Ben Khalifa.

Manchester United do want him, but it's highly unlikely that he'll go there before September 1.
