Pretty accurate, I must say. Except for the first couple. I don't have a clue about them. Overall, a good list.

They failed totally with Dumitru Copil. But I think they included him just because he was in Scotland back then. They only care about promising players when they are abroad.

Yeah, they didn't mewntion Miralem Pjanic() and he's a young star on the rise from Bosnia. But the predictions/article was good overall.

Decent list, but I don't think we will make a worse list, if we tried in this sub-section of the forum.

Messi was 20 in 2007 (not a teenager), and Aguero is #7 on the list.

Whoops, didn't see Aguero, my bad.

What month in 2007 was this list made? If it's before June, then Messi has to be there, he was 19, just like Aguero.

I'm sure they wouldn't omit Messi from a list like this if he was eligible, it's like making a list of the richest people in the world without Bill Gates.

Pretty sure Messi was more than just a 'exciting teenager', even back then. Besides, he was 20 as someone else had already said

He was already well and truly a breakout star

I think the list is pretty good, maybe not so much the ranking order but the names inside. Never heard of #1 though , or a lot of those south american/african talents

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they wouldn't rate Sadick Adams over Messi, the best footballer in the world right now.

World Soccer didn't rank the players. They were just put in random order.

Ah, Sadick Adams. He really has disappeared recently. His transfer saga with Etoile du Sahel and Atletico was always in the news after his exploits at the U17 WC.

I'm surprised Pablo Piatti isn't on this list after his exploits on the U20 World Cup winning side as the youngest player on the team. Likewise with Diego Capel, Altidore and Dawid Janczyk. I am guessing this list came out before the WC?

The order seems funny too. Chrisantus at #14 seems low for him if Adams is #1. Chrisantus was seen as a better talent.

It came out in November 2007, after the World Cups, so I'm surprised why they're not there either. Especially Altidore who had a great tournament.

it's funny how pretty much every single African they mentioned on this list achieved nothing at all.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim
