Two questions:-

1.Why is Gerrard relunctant to retire? He was useless in this WC.

2. Woy Hodgeson is the second highest paid manager at the WC, who is the first?

Nothing makes ur blood boil more than "hodgson asks gerrard to play on" headlines when both should retire...

Woy is talking about rebuilding (once again lol), so what's the team for 2016/18?

Hart

Flannagan? - ??????? - Cahill - Shaw

Walcott - Henderson - Wilshere - Sterling
Barkley

Sturridge

Barkley obviously still needs to develop. Has only shown flashes so far at Everton. Mustn't turn him into a messiah / Gazza on the basis of a few games. Martinez has subbed him early a few times too.

Phil Jones (if his form returns) at the back?

Lex Immers - Pace & power. Holland's #1 box to box player

Feyenoord forum - the place to talk about this phenomenon

Twitter reckons he's going with:

Foster (Forster?); Jones, Cahill, Smalling, Shaw; Milner, Lampard, Wilshere, Barkley; Lallana, Sturridge.

Should have fecking played that against Italy when we could have afforded a loss.

Without it gravity is just gravy.

a must win for England, it's gonna be worse tournament if they left the competition with zero point. it's really a disaster to the English football, a shame!

isn't wilshere supposed to be near world class, according to arsenal or liverpool fans (wherever he plays). mindboggling that england would put gerrard ahead of such a talent.

You do not know where Wilshere plays?

He is Arsenal, and most admit that he had this potential, but is definitely not showing it (also thanks to injury) in the past couple seasons

Wilshere is pretty average to be perfectly honest. Since the first major injury he hasn't shown anything.

However I would have said the same about Ramsey 18 months ago and now he's one of the best midfielders in the world, so I won't write him off yet.

Lampard n milner would have been more steady against quality opposition than gerard welbeck starting
