Norway's road to Euro 2008

Has started

2-0 up against Hungary after 35 mins, very pleased to see Ole scoring.

A match sharp Ole can be the difference between qualifying and not doing so.

Strømstad with the 2nd goal after a misunderstanding by hungarian defender and kiraly.

I knew we were a better side. But I did in no way anticipate this. Good ol' Ole is back! Strømstad was clever on the second and another fantastic goal by Gamsten!

We're looking much more close to a fourth than Hungary are to a first

Looking forward for the second half.

Yes, he scored 5 goals in pre-season, and has 1 EPL goal to his name in 2 appearances, he started one of those.

He will almost certainly start v Spurs next week.

So, Sweden, Norway, and Finland has all won their first games. Hopefully Denmark will too. Would be amusing to see Spain fail, and see Sweden and Denmark to go through p

Veldig bra av Norge, trodde ikke det skulle bli en så stor seier.
Og fantastisk kamp av Solskjær.

Ole brings a lot more to the team than any other norwegian second striker, due to his mobility, leadership qualities and eye for goal. I think when for example Johnsen plays next to Carew it just to much longballs and not enough mobility on the pitch. Norway need more movement like they proved against Hungary.

Well Ole out of the starting line up is confirmed, I am disappointed not to see him play but Hareide might have been speaking to Sir Alex about resting him.

This is the line up

1 Thomas Myhre - 17 Anders Rambekk, 3 Erik Hagen, 5 Brede Hangeland, 15 Marius Johnsen - 7 Fredrik Strømstad, 8 Martin Andresen, 22 Kristofer Hæstad, 11 Morten Gamst Pedersen - 24 Frode Johnsen - 10 John Carew.

9 mins gone and still 0-0

79' 2 - 0 IVERSEN. Solid forarbeid av Anders Rambekk, som legger inn til Steffen Iversen. RBK-spissen skyter med utsiden av foten og får hjelp når ballen skifter retningen i en motstander. Keeper blir satt ut av spill, og ballen går i mål.

Was at the Moldova game, we reallly need someone to play on the wings, or simply change our formation. And why is Iversen stilll on the NT, he's the Frank Strandli/Geir Frigård of our time, get Braaten in there.

Also read about Thomas Myhre complaining about the crowd yesterday, he should stay in England and sit on the bench there if he feels that way. The team took their sweet time scoring on freakin Moldova, but the crowd was behind them the whole time. When Malta comes to town I'll sit and hurl abuse at Mr. Myhre, instead of trying to support the team. Gå og legg deg, Thomas!
