Israel-Denmark Friendly

I game which i'm really looking foward to football wise. But this game shouldnt be held in Israel! Israel is a very safe place, but i think that some crazy arabs will be going out of their way to cause some serious harm to the Danish NT. It would be foolish to have this game in Israel and i'm sure the IFA (Israeli Football Association) wouldn't mind having the game in Copenhagen if Denmark offers it. This is a disaster waiting to happen. This weekend, Bnei Sachnin, which is an a team representing an Arab town, will be burning Danish flags. I hate when politics ruin football! i hope the police won't let this pass by, and i hope that the game is either postponed until things cool of or held in Copenhagen. Either way i'm looking foward to this game very much

what do you Danish guys think about this?

http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/682896.html

this seems like a very casual report, have people forgotten that a nations flag reprasents its culture/ people & values all sacred in my book, this report seems almost to condone the burning of a flag.

before this was even said,Denmark is once again considering cancelling the game, if the news will show sachnin fans burning a Danish flag, it would make it even worst and would probably seal the deal to cancel the game. Very foolish to let the Arab fans just burn down the flags, it'll cause alot of problem not just with the friendly, but like the article said, it will cause hostility between Christian and Muslim Arabs

What's the source of this news? There is nothing in the Danish media about the fedreation cancelling anything. In fact, the General Secretary Jim Stjerne Hansen says it probably will be played there's just no final decision yet.

Yada, yada

well here in Israel they said it might be cancelled then we also heard from the General Secretary that the game will not be cancelled but just yesterday it seems that it might be cancelled once again.

I think that if the Bnei Sachnin fans (the arab team) will burn Danish flags, then it will scare the players and the whole NT. Apparently the Danish Goalkeeper (i don't know his name, sorry) said that he is a bit frightened to play, and has a gut feeling that something bad will come along. I can't blame any of the players.....i also have a feeling that something well will come along.

listen, like i've said before you can't really blame them for not wanting to come. You have Sachnin fans burning Danish flags, and Israel, afterall is in the Middle East, so you can't help but have some concern for this match. Is this guy a trouble maker?

I'm just saying anyone that 'frightened' to goto Israel has got to be a bit of a pussie, what a pussie sorrenson is.

Yes. You may not know some of the players since some have left due to to safety reasons and others have left by injuries.
