Nordic teams in the UEFA Cup

The draw is made:

TROMSØ - Galatassaray (Turkey)
VIKING - Austria Wien (Guess!)
BRØNDBY - FC Zürich (Switzerland)
Besiktas (Turkey) - MALMØ FF
Lokomotiv Moscow (Russia) - BRANN
HALMSTAD - Sporting Lissabon (Portugal)
VÅLERENGA - Steaua Bucharest (Romania)
MYPA - Grasshoppers (Switzerland)
CSKA Moscow (Russia) - FC MIDTJYLLAND
Hamburger SV (Germany) - FC COPENHAGEN

Well Brøndby and Viking have got the best draws while Midtjylland and Halmstad got last years #1 & 2 respectively.

My guess is 2 or with a little luck 3 teams will advance to round 2

So let's sum it up.

Grashoppers - Mypa 1-1
VÅLERENGA - Steaua Bucharest 0-3
BRANN - Lokomotiv Moscow (Russia) 1-2

There's some of it, how did the rest do yesterday?

Two things are quite funny. First, that around half of the previous Scandinavian clubs scored with foreign footballers. Also, it was "van" night yesterday when FCK played vs. Hamburg in that 1-1 draw

Congratulations to Viking. You imo played awful, but we did as well, so overall you deserve to go through. Good luck in the group-stage.

Who can tell me more about Viking ? Best players, strengths, weaknesses and so on ?

I think they are the clear underdog in Group A, nevertheless no one should underestimate them. They will play in Hamburg on November 3rd btw..
