Dortmund are done, you can thank the depleted defense for that. Toprak and Zagadou together as CB were a disaster waiting to happen. Good at least that Frankfurt and Leverkusen are somehow saving Germany's honor in the EL for once.

YBC : The rest of the teams in Scotland are on the level of the Moldovan league, but Celtic are actually decent as evidence by their Champions League performances.

Germany's "vintage" Euro season continues as Schalke get hammered 7:0 at Man City with some atrocious defending and worse mistakes by Fahrmann. Its very possible all German clubs will be knocked out by end of this week. Bayern is basically a 50-50 tie, they come into the game in good form + Liverpool's away form in the CL is awful. Frankfurt of all teams saving Germany's face this season and no shame if they get knocked out by Inter

Always count on Schalke to severely humiliate themselves and Germany in the Champions League.

Kudos to Eintracht Frankfurt, as much as German teams tend to underperform in the EL, Eintracht have been the one bright light in the competition. Their elimination to Porto a few years ago was no shame and as you said HS if they get knocked out by Inter it won't be a disgrace either.

Champions League
B: BAYERN, Tottenham, Olympiakos, Red Star Belgrade
D: Juventus, Atletico Madrid, LEVERKUSEN, Lokomotiv Moscow
F: Barcelona, DORTMUND, Inter Milan, Slavia Prague
G: Zenit, Benfica, Lyon, RB LEIPZIG

Dortmund got the most difficult group only saved by one of the weakest teams from Pot 1 so they should be guaranteed at least third place. Realistically it will be between them and Inter for 2nd with Inter having a habit of choking these games but German sides also tend to struggle against Italian ones; Bayern got a straight forward group with an unsettled Spurs side being their main competitors; hard to see Leverkusen finish in the top two but they should grab an EL spot; RB Leipzig got a great draw considering they were in Pot 4, the weakest teams from Pots 1/2

Europa League
F: Arsenal, FRANKFURT, Standard Liege, Vitoria
I: WOLFSBURG, Gent, St. Etienne, Oleksandriya
J: Lazio, GLADBACH, Istanbul Basaksehir, Wolfsberger

All three should progress but with the EL you never know how seriously some teams take the competition even with the CL carrot. On paper Gladbach seem to have the toughest group with Lazio and Istanbul but I notice the Turks are off to a slow start. Frankfurt get an attractive match with Arsenal (probably their B team ) and two manageable teams.

Two very good results for Leipzig and especially Dortmund who looked solid against Barcelona at home and got one of their tricky fixtures out of the way early on just like Leipzig at Benfica.

Reus with two left feet today.

Dortmund could have taken more than 1 point from this game.

Yep Dortmund should have won, the only bonus is Inter dropped points in the most winnable game of the group but it will still likely come down to those games against them. Still early but Leipzig seem to be in good shape as long as they win their home games to win the group

Leverkusen's defeat wasn't that surprising but Eintracht's having 7 shots on target and still losing 0-3 to Arsenal at home and Mönchengladbach losing 0-4 at home against an anonymous austrian club was shameful.
