Terek Grozny v Zenit St Petersburg (Match 22) 08/04/2015

The matches are coming thick and fast and we return to action on Wednesday, we could possibly be going 11 points clear with just 8 matches left with a win here.

No news as of yet of the seriousness of Garay and Ryazanstev injuries, both were substituted yesterday after injuring their ankles.

We also had 2 players with milestones in yesterday's 2-1 win v CSKA Morecambe. Danny played his 200th game for Zenit, he scored 57 goals and got 75 assists. Hulk played his 100th game for Zenit, he has scored 49 goals and got 35 assists.

Hulk recently extended his contract until 2018 whilst Danny's contract is up at the end of the season after spending 7 years with Zenit.

Can't we have some suspended or injured who can't play against Seville? Lol

Anyukov to get RB and Smolynkov to play left back.

Rondon will start this one with Hulk going back to his wide midfield berth.

Whether Ryazentsev is fit or not, I'm expecting him to sit this one out which isn't a bad thing as we need to have some players rested who are able to play against Seville also cutting down the chance of them getting injured in the match.

Are we flying in and out on Grozny on the same day as usual?

I'm expecting this line up -

Lodygin
Anyukov
Lombaerts
Neto
Smolynkov
Witsel
Garcia
Shatov
Danny
Hulk
Rondon

Outside chance he keeps Hulk up top and plays say Tymo/Mogilvets in midfield but I'm thinking he will play Rondon up top and switch Hulk back to a wide position.

More possession, more shots and more goals. Seems fair to me.

Unless CSKA Morecambe defy the odds and get a win against the top 6 for the first time this season.

Were going to be 10 points clear with 8 matches left. 4 wins and 2 draws guarantees the Championship.

Looks like we could be all set up to win the Title at Spartak's new stadium! How ironic would that be!

Highlights of today's match, great strike from Shatov, brilliant free-kick from Hulk too which rattled the bar Before Rondon netted.

5 Yellow Cards yesterday, do we have any players suspended for the home match v Rubin at the weekend?

Almost 22,000 at Grozny yesterday, good crowd, especially more so since they had nothing to play for.

Great goal from Shatov, love the kid. Not taking on players as much as he did last season. Not sure if AVB told him to cut down on it or he just prefers to pass it off to Hulk/Danny and let them work their magic.

Anyway, it is a great right hand side (Shatov/Smolnikov). I noticed against CSKA how almost all the attacks were coming through that side.

Smolynkov is a superb attacking defender.

I don't think it was Spalleti but whoever was responsible for getting Lodygin, Smolynkov and Shatov for a combined fee of approx 12 Million did amazing!

Were talking it cost nearly the same price as what it cost CSKA Morecambe for Vitinho and we all know how he turned out.....

Just seen Witsel it out tomorrow via suspension.

This is actually great news, he will be fit for Seville and rested unless he get's injured in training!

Never been so happy for one of our stars to be suspended!
