Can't believe Danny didn't score. But still we're looking comfortable out there, just need the goal. AEL haven't even come close to creating a scoring chance so far.

Shatov on for Zulinho please.

zenit is no going nowhere with this team in europe.

lot of players needed, playmaker winger and a goal scorer.

crapzullin no words can describe him,he plays only because of the limit.

kerzhakov lol.

hulk plays for himself but is the only one making the difference.

Kleber, we're talking about Zenit, not Benfica... It's the first game of the season, considering that, we are good enough...

Yeah, on the whole we played fairly well so far all things considered. No question that we've been the better team.

Can't say I'm surprised; Zenit has a bunch of players returning from the World Cup and probably not ready fitness wise while AEL Limassol has probably been preparing for this fixture the last month. These types of results can happen. Key is to react at home. If Zenit plays to their full strength they can beat AEL at home by a 2 to 3 goal margin.

The Zenit away contingent is roughly the same size when I went to Cyprus to watch Red Star play Omonia Nicosia in the Europa League. Cyprus is such a shit country.

sorry to say lame excuses.

just the usual crap russian football working.

cska was eliminated by aik, spartak by lech, loko by waregem and zenit nacional and so on.

russian football is a completely joke and with the financial fair play and the western sanctions to russia will only get worst.

zenit have a mediocre side taking out 3,4 players.

Well it looks like we've got our first traditional embarrassing result of the European season.

Zenit are playing like their construction of stadium. Pathetic
