Who do you want? Bielsa is someone I'd like.

Someone who will give young Russian players a go. Outside of Shatov you never see young Russians, especially from the academy. Why did he sign Solovyov? Thought he had potential at Dynamo, now he is rotting away at Zenit lol.

Even Slutsky always pushes players from their academy (Giving First team debut starts during UCL games as recently as the Plzen game). Of course CSKA has a great academy compared to Zenit but Zenit have some decent youth players.

Hopefully they sign Dyakov.

I don't see us sacking Spalleti whilst we are top of our domestic League and through to the last 16 of the CL.

He has taken us to the last 16 of the CL twice in 3 years and won 2 RPL out of 3 and only a technical defeat made it 3 out of the 3.

Just don't see it happening whatever we think about tonight's bullshit result.

Right now they do, no doubt about it. They started pumping a lot of money into it in about ~2008. Those kids will slowly be making the starting side of CSKA. I have watched them a fair bit and the current Under 19 generation and younger are looking head and shoulders above the rest. Their Under 19's just topped the UCL Youth League group ahead of Man City and Bayern Munich.

Karavaev is from that squad, got his debut for CSKA against Viktoria the other day.

Meanwhile Zenit (Not having a dig at you but at the clubs management), Zenit is second to last in the Russian Youth League and only managed 1 point in the Youth Champions League (Conceding 17 goals in 6 games lol)
You would expect better from Zenit. Krasnodar's youth system is superior to Zenit at the moment, Krasnodar probably has the best youth set up in Russia at the moment, but they are very new. The first graduates from the Krasnodar Football School will only appear in 2018.

When CSKA's youngsters make an impact at a senior level then we can start singing their praises. Not yet though.

As for Zenit, our place in the Russian Youth league is misleading. All our best youngsters are playing for Zenit-2 in the Second Division and not for the u-18 team.

There not going to change the coach because of one bullshit result or one big bullshit run of form and so you are spot on there.

We are top of the League and through to the last 16 of the CL, despite being a 3rd seed in the CL and despite having a - transfer spend this summer.

If you told me in August we would be top of the League in December and through to the last 16 of the CL, I would and Gazprom would have taken that.

Now if we lose in the last 16 of the CL and then continue our horseshite form in domestic League than that would be different. That is when a change might be made.

you are out of the cup beating by a third division side.
of course keeping spalletti might cost you the domestic title or worst outside the top 2.

last one month and half was a disaster especialy in the league.

not all spalletti fault, zenit needs better players in defense and def mid.

Dyakov instead of Hubocan means we can buy a foreign striker and fit within the limit comfortably. That could be a difference.

Berdyev is now available. Get rid of Spaghetti, bring in Berdyev and I bet you that the defensive lapses will disappear.

Yanbaev, Zenit legend. Remember when he scored against Akinfeev?
