Vindaloo, Xacuti, Sorpotel were one of the main reasons I went there. Choris also good. btw, there is a thing called Sarapatel in Alentejo and in North East Brazil which is quite similar.
also loved Caju Feni. brought a bottle of 18 year old home. awesome stuff.
learned to cooked Vindaloo too. using fresh spices and seeds and vinegar and all.
what they sell in Europe as "Vindaloo" is a joke, with potatoes and what not, disgusting. but then, those guys are probably from Northern India or so and don't have a clue what and where Goa is.
yeah, the football love is great too. and they chuckle on the rest of India and their cricket mania
good to see every village has a footie pitch (mostly next to the church lol) and kids playing
would have gone to a Goan Pro League game but they had a break
Sporting Clube would have been the team of my choice, since there is no Benfica, only on youth level.
