Great Britain is the strongest, I hope they win at home because they deserve it, inventing the game and all.

Big games are easy than the other games, unfortunately. Every times we have the control the games, under the control the games, during the games we had the some possibilities, some big chances, some big okazyons, something like that but what can I do, sometimes? And….it’s the football, that’s the football, something happened. Everything is something happened. - Fatih Terim

I'd really not expect guys who went to the Euros to appear at the Olympics. It's a dumb tournament, far too close to the start of the season. Maybe there will be a couple of them like Carroll who didn't play regularly. I don't know what to expect from Pearce to be honest. I could be totally wrong

Anyway, all the best for Team Kingdom of England, hope they get pumped :hopeful:

This is the Japanese team:

GK: Gonda, Ando
DF: H.Sakai, G.Sakai, Tokunaga, Yoshida, Suzuki, Yamamura.
MF: Kiyotake, Muramatsu, Higashi, Yamaguchi, Ogihara, Usami.
FWD: Nagai, Otsu, Saito, Sugimoto.

The players I know here are Kensuke Nagai, Hiroshi Kiyotake, Takashi Usami, Hiroki Sakai, Gotoku Sakai and Maya Yoshida. The two wing-backs, the two Sakais are very dynamic players and Hiroki just recently joined Gotoku in Germany when he signed for Hannover. Kiyotake is an exciting talent who I've seen play attacking mid and also on the wing, cutting in. He will join Nuremberg this following season. Usami made a mistake joining Bayern but hopefully he can show more at Hoffenheim as he was considered a top talent while back at Gamba Osaka.

Hopefully this little team don't get embarrassed too badly by the big boys.

You can't say a blanket yes or no to that if you're an intelligent human being. Can't say I support any nation blindly in a war. Defending Britain declaring war upon Germany in 1939 was much more justifiable than in 1914 for example. The same would apply to an independent Scotland, I'd support it in doing things I view as positive & oppose it when it did things I view as negative. Unfaltering defence of your nation just because it's the country you were born in is bloody foolish.

But on the topic of Team GB in particular, I opposed a Team GB from day 1 in the knowledge that Sepp Blatter's word is worthless. One meaningless Under 23 tournament is not worth jeopardising the future existence of a Scottish national team. And as the team fortunately has not a single Scot in it I'm perfectly happy to watch England get pumped. Though even if any Scots were included my opinion on it wouldn't change.
