Bryan Ruiz

Signed with us today

Loan deal until June with no option to buy though.

He was brilliant at Twente and did ok for Fulham imo but has lost his spot in the first XI due to Fulham having too many 'luxury' players (Taarabt and Berba) who also don't do much running.

Whether he will play in midfield, at LW or at 9 - who knows?

Don't get this at all, just like I don't get PSV's total policy at all.

€1 million for four months Bryan Ruiz, whose position is already filled up with younger players who've got a contract at your own club.

Finally, if that's not enough, still PSV's main problem lies at the back imo.

Agree with Knoert, it's the last position that was needed to be strengthened.
I still however think we'll see the Ruiz of old...

A journalist who follows PSV very close (Sleegers) actually thinks the opposite of us .

Well we need goals thats for sure and Ruiz knows (well at least knew) how to get them in the Eredivisie.

Locadia and Matavz (when he wasn't injured) have been very average thus far.

Fact is Ruiz will play for PSV for the next couple of months so now it's time to enjoy his play. I'm not really sure yet whether Ruiz will get to play as a striker or on the right wing. I would prefer him on the right wing, he is on his best there. Although Locadia and Matavz didn't really perform well yet, Narsingh couldn't really convince me thus far neither.

Surprised to see you say that about Narsingh, Afellay.

Whenever I see Narsingh play (or when he's not injured), he impresses me a lot. Why not play Ruiz behind the striker?
