Przemyslaw Tyton

A player which definitely deserves his own thread after this season.

A 2.5m fee was paid for him to Roda JC but he seems worth every penny thus far.

Started the season fighting for the no.1 spot but unfortunately suffered a major head injury in the home game against Ajax which saw him ruled out for 6 months.

Came back and won his spot once again after his injury after some suspect performances by Isaksson.

When he has played he has been superb. He will surely start next season as the no.1.

He was recently called up to the provisional 26 man squad for Poland's Euro 2012 bid. Hes one of 3 keepers so he will definitely make the cut unless something unforeseeable comes up. Should be the no.2 behind the guy from Arsenal with an even more unpronounceable name

Man we are lucky to have two such talented goalies in our squad. The only fear I have is that the presence of Tyton will harm Zoet's development.

Great keeper have to say and a good buy from us!

I heard that Zoet will be loaned to RKC for one more season.

He has a contract until 2014 so i think it might be the best option for his development. He just has to sign a long term contract first

Al-Qaeda sympathiser Sinouh to stay for one more season? :hopeful:

And what if anything happens to Tyton? Will we have a clause which will enable us to call Zoet back?

According to AD the details of the contract are to be discussed in the coming days so nothing concrete to report as of now.

It was nice of Szczesny to trust the Titan and thrust him into the limelight (and into the collective hearts of the nation of Poland).

The real hero of the day is, yet again, Mr. Szczesny...

Tyton stopped 6 of the last 9 penalty's. Proud to have him at PSV.

There seems to be some commotion concerning Tyton and his defenders. There are several players unhappy with Tyton because he has changed since his awefull injury last year. He is afraid to come of his line and when he comes he doesnt give it his all. Some players have supposedly asked for Zoet to return to the club. I wonder how this will affect the squad.

IMO Tyton is still a great goalie but I wouldnt mind selling him because Zoet is one of the biggest Dutch talents and has allready proved himself on eredivisie level.

He was dropped so for once De Snor seemed to be right. Which just Waterman on the bench and coming in now I don't think it's wise decision.

Wonder what the conditions of Zoet's loandeal are.

I don't think its a wise decision either.

Whats with all this panic ffs. Weve only played 5 games. I really didnt expect this kind of management from Advocaat.

We dont have the option to recall Zoet during this season.

Obviously a stupid move, Tyton is much better than Waterman. Just look at how we conceded the goals against Dnipro, stupid defending. I wonder if this mean we'll sell Tyton at the end of the season?

Is the Waterman really better than Tyton? I'm quite suprised of his status in PSV, because he plays really well in national team matches, also in the last two games. I heard about his allegedly poor play on the foreground, however I don't see any problems of that both against South Africa and England, I'd say more, his runs to long balls and one of one situations rescues us several times...

Waterman is a poor goalie.

I saw Poland-England. Tyton didn't do anything wrong in it. Didn't have much to do though.

Not sure what Advocaat will do. Wait till Waterman inevitably messes up big time?

Well Advocaat similarly held a little bit of a grudge against Matavz but that only lasted a month or so.

Lets see how long this takes but im guessing Waterman has to stuff up first.

Dick criticised Tyton for not being able to deal with crosses/balls in the air well.

NIedo, obviously Tyton is a much better goalie than Waterman and I dont understand the choice that Dick made. But there were rumours that our central defenders(who suck) didnt have faith in Tyton and if so than that could explain the move.
