I'm told I should introduce myself.
I'm an Evertonian (not from Liverpool).
I used to be a big football fan, and played a little bit at semi-pro level and I used to consider myself a bit of a statto (some will know what that means), but I find it quite nauseating these days. Maybe there's just too much for us to view now?
I have however always been interested in football history. That's why I arrived at this place really.
When I played, I was a defender, and my footballing heroes were usually defenders. My favourites were. Fraco Baresi, Paolo Maldini, Paul McGrath, Fabio Cannavaro, Lilian Thuram and Jamie Carragher (tough for an Evertonian to admit that)
But as an Evertonian, Neville Southall will always be God.
