At least a lot of goals in a Schreuder coached game.

Well Twente are definitely weaker

I'm not sure about how the Eredivisie shapes up in comparison to the Super Lig in general though

The Answer is the man with the answers to that

Possibly. I just think if you put each team that finished in corresponding place more Turkish teams would win or would at least be very tight (by no means am I saying it's necessarily a good standard!) For instance, take Balikesirspor who came bottom last season in Superlig. They undoubtedly had a better side than Dordrecht and probably most other bottom 10 sides in Eredivisie. They had players like Alanzinho, Roland Vargas, Ermin Zec, and Sercan Ylidrim... players that might not be big names but would for sure be regulars and star players if they played for sides like Dordrecht, Go Ahead, NAC, etc...

Even got teams like Kasimpasa finishing in bottom 7. Team who's budget is similar to AJax/PSV level and had players like Ryan Babel, Malki, Isaksson, Viudez, Donk, Derdiyok, Torun, Castro, and Scarione!

Kasimpasa greatly underperformed. With the money put into them by their owner, they should have finished in the top 6.
Their average attendence btw is just over 2400 alm: Not that billionaire owner Turgay Ciner minds

The attendences in general in fact are shabby compared to the Eredivisie. http://www.worldfootball.net/attenda...g-2014-2015/1/

TV money in Turkey probably is a lot higher than in The Netherlands though.

yeah, its certainly a lot more backward than Eredivisie in terms of stadiums, support, standard of pitches and how well run the clubs are (stability). Corruption there will always prevent it from getting much better

This is what makes the argument difficult, because the players at the clubs in Turkey don't perform as well as they should. There is way more money in Turkey but it isn't spent wisely.

So the start of the competition is uncertain because the police are thinking about having strikes during those dates.

Doesn't this happen at the beginning of every season and always get resolved before it starts?

Just wondering, with spending in the Premier League about to break the record again, what's the most amount of money that has been spent in the Eredivisie in the summer transfer window and when?

PEC - Cambuur and Heerenveen - Graafschap are postponed because of police actions. More surely to come, ADO - PSV most surely but it is not official yet.
