Dutch sides in Europe 2015/16

Lets see how long this year's edition lasts

First off, Go Ahead will meet Ferencvaros. That indeed will be the first and last tie of Go Ahead's European campaign this season.

First leg in Emmen on the 2nd of July.

Second leg in Budapest on the 9th of July.

heh thread made at the same time, so which awesome hooligan fight can we expect to see?

don't Go Ahead have problems with Lonsdale jongeren? they could ally themselves with Ferencvaros' mob against whoever...probably fight nobody but burn some random cars in a parking lot or something

Depends if the Ultra's are going abroad. They will not be at the home game in stadium as they are boycotting home games, surely also away games.

Away game is by the way in an empty stadium, no fans allowed. Punishment from the UEFA for racism during Fradi's last match in Europe

Once in a lifetime Go Ahead fans can experience European football, then they're not allowed to visit the away match...

In Deventer they're scared immediately for Ferencvaros fans...

Understandable, although like I said, I am not expecting any of the Ultra's to come because they will need to be registered amd that is exactly why they are boycotting the Ferencvaros games.

Also that's exactly why Eagles won't sell tickets to non seasonticket/clubcard holders because otherwise they fear those ultras can buy tickets for the home stands.

Does this registration thing in Hungary only exist for Ferencvaros supporters or for all Hungarian clubs supporters?

In for example Turkey, Italy and Poland it killed much of the atmosphere and especially away support. In NL of course many years ago already.

All teams. But I don't think most Hungarian teams care if the Ultra's boycott their games. Saves them money in fines anyway, they are all mostly Nazis who feel the need to shout racist stuff and make monkey noises.

Any idea if Ferencvaros will sell all those 370 tickets and if the ultras can travel?

Ultra's will not travel because it involves them having to register themselves which they refuse. Only people who are registered with a club card can buy tickets (which doesn't take away that there will be nazi apes in the stands).

I have not read yet if they sold all of the tickets. I assume so or at least half of them.

Dutch Clubs Europa League 15/16

GAE 0-1 down after 2 minutes against the Hungarian team.

GAE's defenders could only pass it to themselves, before a pass into midfield got intercepted and it was too easy for the Hungarian team to score.

Go Ahead look good on the attack, it is just the defence that is But no surprise with only 2 centre backs in the squad at the moment.

Didn't see this when I looked for a thread about this, GAE went 0-1 down after 2 minutes. Silly pass from a defender got intercepted and Ferencvaros broke and easily scored. GAE have improved more as the game has gone on.

Vriends scores a much deserved equaliser in stoppage time of HT with a header from a corner.

The ref has made some questionable decisions IMO (fouls that Ferencvaros have got away with but GAE don't), Ferencvaros have got every little decision their way. There was a possible hand ball by a Ferencvaros player in the box but my stream isn't exactly clear.

Go Ahead the better team, 62% possession and spreading the play out more dangerously.
Fradi have only been dangerous on the counter.
