Manager of the season

Lets see what the people think

Make your pick:

The KNVB have nominated:

Cocu
Rutten
Ron Jans
Ruud Brood
and the Bosz

I'll add 2 others.

and

Jurgen Streppel

The Prize is awarded on May 15, so take your time if you're eyeing Jans and want to wait till after the cup final.

Lex Immers - Pace & power. Holland's #1 box to box player

Feyenoord forum - the place to talk about this phenomenon

Big Ron for me!

He's made a young, exciting team with solid players all over the pitch with no outstanding player who the team rely on.
They keep defying the odds to get results over the last couple of seasons, and while they've tailed off a little bit towards the end of this season, they're in another cup final!

It really has to be Phillip Cocu for me

He has finally brought the title back to Eindhoven after a 6 season drought and he did it in style, breaking many records along the way. More fancied managers like Advocaat, Stevens and Fredje Rutten all failed miserably with more talented squads you may argue

Streppel and Jans deserve a special mention for me though

Okay, before an ignoramous like me votes, how about telling me who they all coach? I know that Cocu coaches PSV and Rutten handles Feyenoord, but the others?

Thanks in advance.

Philip Cocu - PSV
Fred Rutten - Feyenoord
Ron Jans -
Ruud Brood -
Peter Bosz -
Jurgen Streppel -
Rob Maaskant -

Ron Jans - PEC Zwolle
Ruud Brood - NEC Nijmegen
Peter Bosz - Vitesse Arnhem
Jurgen Streppel - Willem II
Rob Maaskant - NAC Breda

I've gone for Jurgen Streppel. Like going for the underdog and I respect the way they play. They close sides down early and then move the ball forward quickly when they have it.

yeah gone with Streppel too, considering I picked them to get relegated after losing Boymans!

Gotta go with the NEC coach. They're going straight back up to the Eredivisie after only one season.

Cocu. Most consistent team out there, bar NEC but managers from the Jupiler League should not be included in this.

For me it's Brood, what NEC performed is just incredible this season. No one ever did better in the Dutch 2nd league!

Cocu ended up winning the award for real.

Feyenoord for once didn't have the best youth set-up. AZ won that award!
