There have been some surprises in the past, but despite the weakness of especially VVV but as well the number 16, whoever it may be, I don't expect a surprise this time.

Sparta with Aad didn't improve, Helmond like every year are a little bit too weak. MVV are far away from their form before the winter-break while Volendam probably are too disappointed by missing out on the title.

Personally I'd like to see NAC end up in the playoffs, therefore Roda needs to beat them tonight in Breda :hopeful:. That's just my personal preference though .

I think RKC will end up in the play-offs. Wonder if de Graafschap can be the surprise side in the play-offs.

I would like to see Roda relegated and MVV promoted. Aside from that, De Graafschap are always welcome.

Surprised RKC won. Major choke from Vitesse, against 10 men too for more than an hour

Like the first half of the season they screwed up at the end again against the lowly placed teams.

I can't see Roda going down with Malki upfront.

I don't think they would have ever given him a second chance. :smileani: Henk it is this time.

Here the definite schedule.

Especially for Limburg things can only go wrong, with VVV and MVV meeting possible in the final, and Fortuna and Roda possibly in the semi-final there still will be max. 2 teams from Limburg in Eredivisie, but it can go much worse as well with all four ending up in the Jupiler...

I'd have thought Roda would stay up.

Not sure about VVV though, they surely can't get away with a league 2 centre-back, Marcel Seip in the Eredivisie again.

He's actually among the top-3 best VVV-players this season .

First matches have been played yesterday evening, Dordt - Go Ahead finished in a sensational 3-3, De Graafschap has beaten Fortuna 2-1, so still all to play for in the returns Saturday night.

Seip claims to have learnt the art of defending in League 2 that's how bad defending is overhere

As I said at the start of the season, I have watched him play for Bradford in the past against Torquay. He was actually a pretty good defender.
Haha, except in league 2 it's up and under football and the Eredivisie is largely played on the floor...

As expected Go Ahead blew away FC Dordrecht.

De Graafschap are through too.

Hope that their games against VVV and Roda will be competitive

Nah...

We lost in the first cup round versus Eagles in Deventer in a sensational game (4-4 I believe) and also this 3-0 result versus Dordt doesn't give me a lot of confidence.

We should've been relegated already during the past two seasons but were very lucky, probably this is the time...

VVV are a bit like Wigan imo, they can sometimes pull a great result out of the bag.

But yet again, they're in the play-offs!

Be a shocker if they go from beating Vitesse away to losing away at Go Ahead! Go Ahead have only lost once at home this season so wouldnt be surprised if Go Ahead get a least a draw. VVV only conceded 20 goals away from home with only Twente conceding fewer. BUt then they only scored 11 (second worst in league!) so hard to tell!

Also be very surprised if Roda dont get at least a draw away at De Graf despite their issues away from home. And at home they should win comfortably

VVV meanwhile seem superior to Go Ahead. The home team has hardly managed to get out of its first half. Very subdued atmosphere. Very different to what I saw during GAE-Volendam.
