#11 Luciano Narsingh

So he finally arrives.

After a battle between Ajax and ourselves for his signature we have come out on top after several months of speculation.

Luciano had a great season last year providing a hell of a lot of assists and also a decent amount of goals.

It will be different this time around however as he wont be allowed as much time and space (and the ability to play on the counter) as he did with Heerenveen.

A classical right winger who is a speed demon and has a great cross meaning Matavz has no reason to flop this time round also.

Another Amrabat/Wijnaldum type signing or a future Oranje regular? We will found out i guess

4.1m is the fee reported by the media which will rise to 4.5m if we reach the CL.

He has signed a 5 year deal.

Funny how the guy can start for Oranje and score in his last two games but is benched at PSV. He had an okay game against Turkey, scored one but he screwed up a great counter(when he stole the ball himself) because he was indecissive.

We'll you pretty much summed it up there.

My first impressions of Narsingh is that he is very "hot and cold". At one time he is great (as seen when he scored) and at others he isnt up to standard (when he didnt pass Robben the ball on the counter).

It has been the same during his first few games at PSV.

That said i really dont think that Lens best position is on the wing so for the time being i would give Luciano the benefit of the doubt and let Lens and Matavz battle it out at 9.

Narsingh fits better in Van Gaal's drawing of the ideal rightwinger. Also in AZ days he didnt use Lens that much either.

He is injured for atleast the rest of this season.. in the game against NAC he has gotten a bad knee injury. So now we have to play with Lens on his place, we have nobody else..

That's not good.

Perhaps you'll bring in a replacement this month?

What about Depay?

Depay has never played on that position before and really is on his best on the left, so then Mertens has to play on the right.. i would try Lens first, but he has played his best games as a striker. Pff... Toivonen injured for a long time, Pieters was injured for a long time, Mertens and Willems were injured..

Your attack is your best line, so you can deal with injuries a bit better there and Narsingh hasn't really produced his Heerenveen form yet so losing him isnt the biggest loss either. Hopefully the youngsters will get a chance more now and now another signing.

Narsingh was finally getting in shape, pretty sure Advocaat willove Lens to the right and play Matavz as a striker. Is Mertens allready matchfit? Otherwise we will see Depay on the left.

Its a big blow no doubt but luckily we have the best attack in the league so it can be dealt with provided we don't get any more injuries there.

Personally for him its a big blow as well because he was improving with each game he played and Matavz increased presence in the first XI would have also made him look better as well.

I think Mertens will be back once the league resumes again but i would like to see Depay get more games at both LW and RW now that Luciano has been injured.

Good to have him back! Unlike you guys Im not buying into the Bakalli hype just yet. And Park just isnt a right winger. Plus im pretty sure Matavz will be happy to have Narsingh.

So last week Narsingh gave an assist and now he scored twice against Volendam! Sounds good.

Brands has said that Narsingh will either sign a long contract () or be sold in the summer

Hopefully he does not want to be a club legend and we can sell him off to a Sunderland type club for a decent fee

Done deal! Narsingh has signed a 2,5 year contract at Swansea. Swansea has published the transfer fee: 4 mil pound (4,6 mil euros).
