Eredivisie 2012/13 summer transfers and rumours

Van Geel has already done some business for Feyenoord for next season.

Others haven't really.

Looks like NEC will lose another player on a free for sure btw in Lasse Schone. Huub's Schalke 04 is interested in him.
Quite a big step though from a provincial Eredivisie club to one of Germany's biggest clubs. Fear he'll be a permanent benchwarmer behind Raul if he goes.
Twente or PSV I think would be better for him. Feyenoord would be ideal but I haven't heard of a link yet. Van Geel will probably first wait and see what Bakkal does (hopefully not wait too long)

It's a damn shame that NEC cant cash out on Schöne, the clubs financial situation is not so good. The stadium expantion of 10.000 seats has been postponed. It will also hurt NEC because they loose their most creative player. Im not sure if he can take such a big step neither. Would have been better if he were to go to PSV or Twente. PSV definitly need a player like him and than we'd be able to sell Toivonen, Im pretty sure PSV would improve with this. Twente could also use him because Chadli is not a #10 and would therefore be able to move to the wing again. Dont see this happening though because they just signed Verhoek

Maybe Nuytinck can be sold in the summer of 2013. Not now as that'd be silly but I'm sure you can get 3m if Serie A clubs are interested.

NECs recent performances I guess should be good news when wanting to keep the defenders at the club.

Naughty boy Dario Vujicevic training with Heracles at the moment

Wonder if Overtoom will leave in the summer, now being an international and all

Only him, Everton and Armenteros can play at a higher level imo.

and Darl Douglas

VVV still hope to be able to get rid of Uchebo before the Russian transfer window closes Luigi Bruins to come in if they succeed. I doubt it though

Bony has extended his contract until June 2015.

Wonder if he will still be leaving Vitesse in the summer.

That might just be insurance for Vitesse so they'll get a lot more than they were going in the first place. I'll give you an example: Falcao changes agent to Jorge Mendes when he renews for Porto during Copa América last summer. Buyout clause is raised to €45 million. Atlético sell of Agüero, sign Falcao and Porto get €15 million more than a month earlier if his clause was activated (used to be €30 million before he renewed).

Good point Zoric, i wonder where he'll end up though. Probably something like CSKA since Vagner Love left them

Vito Wormgoor, a CB from De Graafschap and Aaron Meijers, a left winger from RKC have joined ADO next season on Bosmans.

Meijers has impressed me in the little i have seen of RKC, he will definitely be an edition in Den Haag while Wormgoor i have no idea about.

I've got the same feeling about Meijers, didn't know him before the season but he really impressed me, think he even could've got a better club than ADO but he's quite unknown, he'll certainly do well there.

Wormgoor, nah, kicked away at Ajax, kicked away at Utrecht, playing for De Graafschap, not bad, but neither very good, he'll probably survive at ADO but not more than that.

That's been said for some time though.

Demy de Zeeuw and Pontus Wernblom aren't exactly players who'll turn the Russian league into a top league. Basically B level players who can make the most money they can playing there while also playing European football which they wouldn't at Aston Villa or Hoffenheim.

Same with Bousouffa, Obifemi Martins and most of the others.

True but if they csan manage to buy some of our better players than the eredivisie will be a feeder league. Honda has been a good buy, De Zeeuw doesnt get the credit he deserves allthough he is not topclass material. Elm and Guidetti though, pretty good players and some of the finest the eredivise has got atm. So even if the players arent worldbeaters they still buy the best players in eredivisie and this will improve their league in relation to the eredivisie.

Those players should be going to Feyenoord or Ajax tbh but alas Feyenoord got into a financial mess while Ajax went nuts in spending 18 million on Sulejmani. If we can manage to pay the smaller clubs 5 to 10m fees I'm sure those players would stay in the Eredivisie.

I wonder how long the Russian league will be able to maintain this level of spending btw.
Rubin Kazan is state owned! people are paying taxes to see it spent on Obifemi Martins etc Oil and gas (Zenith and Spartak) helps as the world is reliant on it but lets not forget, Serie A was the biggest league in the late 80s and early 90s because of the rich sugar daddies. They got bored or rather busted for various reasons. It just won't hold on forever unless you're self sufficient like the German clubs IMO who've got the things in order now after the Kirch TV deal went completely wrong ten years ago.

Going to Russia is basically giving up for players like Honda, Musa, Elm and Guidetti.

All have good futures ahead of them and going to a league like the RPL could even be a step back in their career. I would rather see them in mid table teams in the top 3-4 leagues.

I can understand why guys like de Zeeuw and Wernbloom go. B grade players with no real potential if they do move abroad and yes, the Eredivisie is still affected by these players leaving but will the RPL ever reach the level they want if they keep purchasing these type of players?

Twente have officially signed Dusan Tadic for 7million, which is a clubrecord if im not mistaken. Does this mean someone is.leaving? Tadic and John on the wings and De Jong as a striker will make this the best offense in Eredivise without a doubt

If everyone stays will this mean that Chadli will actually go to 10 or is Tadic being signed as a 10?

Schtevie said he was going to play Nacer there when he took over but hes been playing with a Brama-Janssen-Fer midfield and continuing to play Chadli on the wing.
