Rubin again?

Trabzonspor would have been tough but they've just lost their 2 best midfielders to the Istanbul clubs.

That said, life for Twente without Theo

Wow you're quick with this topic, our last participant isn't even known yet .

Twente should be able to beat one of these five, but what happens in the next round? Do they face a big team or are they protected?

Avoiding Rubin would be good for Twente allthough Twente can take on anyone

We're a country mile behind the others

Then again, guess we are 9th at best unless Ajax or PSV start growing up and rock the Europa League like Benfica, Braga, Sporting and Porto do regularly.

^^ That country mile is optical illusion. In the 06/07 season (the one whose points we lose next summer), we scored a measly 5.000 points. Russia scored 11.250. Ukraine, meanwhile, is 8th based solely and entirely on their 16.625 from the 08/09 season. Once they lose that, they're out.

We scored more points than Russia and Ukraine for the past 2 seasons. If we can keep that up, we'll be closing in on France (though no Portugal) before you know it.

But you're right. We really need good EL teams like Portugal does. The nivellering is all fun and games for the Eredivisie, but it's putting our European track record out in the rain.

ADO should win this one. Lithuanian club sides usually are horrible. Dag Liepja popping up to mind.

Some of these teams from Latvia, Lithuania etc can be difficult but don't see it being any problem for ADO to progress

the south will rise again...hell to some, angels to others

I can recall Twente under Rutten getting kicked out by such a side.

No surprise there with Rutten

Remember we lost the first leg 1-0 to last placed in the RPL Sibir last year
