AZ is ready to cooperate with a transfer of the pair. Alkmaar, the conflict still uncertainty about the financial future of the club after the fall of the DSB Bank and are hence forced some high earners to get rid of.
They can have Dembélé if the price is right, but hands off Sergio!

Gertjan Verbeek might not be the only one joining AZ from Heracles this summer. Earlier it was announced that the coach would like to take Bas Dost and Kwame Quansah apparently still a candidate to come to Alkmaar.

The 27-year-old Ghanaian began his career at Ajax, where he played in the attack, but now comes Quansah has been in action in the midfield. As a vacuum cleaner for the defense this season, he is worth gold for Heracles, which he played this season, 32 league matches. He is making his sixth season in Almelo.

If it is to stay there for Verbeek. The coach would like to bring to Quansah AZ Alkmaar but will have to pay a transfer fee. The contract of the dual international, who previously played 176 league matches for Heracles, is to run through 2011. Dost is also a year with the Tukkers.
I think Dost moved to another club in the meantime (I forgot which one). Quansah seems to have gone from striker to defensive midfielder which sounds a lot like Holman to me and we're not even using him. I'm not sure we could use Quansah.

The probability of PSV Marcellis relocated to AZ is great. "It looks good," says Ploegsma in conversation with the Eindhoven Dagblad. Ploegsma itself has already had a meeting with AZ.

Starting this week and spoke AZ Ploegsma with each other and that conversation was positive. Marcellis until next week to wait before he can speak with Verbeek.

The defender is currently with PSV in Brazil. "If he returns, he will be at the table Gertjan Verbeek. When they come together, the case may soon be ticking," says Ploegsma.
Our defense has been shaky lately - if he can manage to refind his old form he's welcome. Especially if it means we'll be less dependent on Jaliens

AZ wants to extend the contract of striker Jonathas with up to two years. The current commitment of 21-year-old Brazilian, who came to Alkmaar in October 2008, runs until mid 2012.

Jonathas has had an excellent season this year. For Young AZ he scored sixteen goals in as many league games. He debuted in the first team on November 21, 2009 against Roda JC and was immediately on the score sheet.

Jonathas was in the winter finally transferred to the A-selection. Because of his good performance AZ decided to abandon Bas Dost. Gertjan Verbeek considered considered bringing Dost to Alkmaar. "I have spoken with Gertjan," said football director Marcel Brands business at Voetbal International. "But if we'd get Dost, we stifle the development of Jonathas and we have not invested anything in that boy. Moreover, Jonathas is more or less the same type, big and strong. "

AZ will only attract a new striker if Moussa Dembele, Mounir El Hamdaoui and / or Jeremain Lens leave. The latter is close to a transfer to PSV. "And in that case, we're also looking for a similar player to the outside," said Brands. "There are offers left and right, but only through intermediaries. There is nothing concrete."
Excellent call. Jonathas should be given a fair chance

Dembele is talking himself up again and stating that both Bayern and Genoa are interested in signing him.

Genoa may even be considered a step down whereas he will struggle to get in the Bayern squad even if he signs for them.

Yeah they're both fairly lousy options but we have no use for him anymore either. He's become a bit of a burden.

Brands is going to decide on his future in the next 2 weeks. He's talking to the curators (that lot again ) about the future of the club. He will decide his next career move based on that information. PSV have said to wait.

Brands keeps putting his decision off. I reckon if no decision is made in 2 weeks neither club should accept him .

Thank you

Italy's pink paper says Juventus are interested in Dembélé for €7m. Let's see if we can get it up to 8 or 9 first but even for 7 I'm willing to drive him there myself.

ALKMAAR - This Friday, AZ and PSV reached a deal on the transfers of Dirk Marcellis to Alkmaar and Jeremain Lens to Eindhoven. Both players still need to come to personal agreements with their respective clubs. No announcements will be made on the transfer fees involved.

The negotiations took part between Toon Gerbrands for AZ and Tiny Sanders for PSV.

The 22 year old Marcellis made his debut on 11 April 2007 when he played for PSV in the Champions League at Anfield Road. He represented PSV 68 in the Eredivisie times since then and played 2 games for the Netherlands national team.
Toon Gerbrands led the negotiations, I guess that means Marcel Brands will be on his way to Eindhoven soon as well. We lost Lens and Brands and we gained fat blob Marcellis. They better landed some serious dough or I'm gonna tear something down.
