Feyenoord forum - the place to talk about this phenomenon

Ronald Koeman "Oranje kan Immers goed gebruiken"

Fred Rutten "Feyenoord heeft Immers nodig"

Well they're not as bad as Dijkse Boys. Visited them versus Gemert, where Gemert won the Sunday B title and they confirmed all typical prejudices about 'kampers'. Continuously shouting at players and staff from the opponent, spitting at opponent players and even beating them! The referee had to stop the game two times because of incidents.
There were about 2400 Gemert fans and 100 from Dijkse Boys so in that case they didn't have much influence but still it happened.

Have never seen that at WKE.

btw, my dream final would be Gemert-IJsselmeervogels :hopeful:

Excelsior'31 - Barendrecht 1-1 (2000)

Next match
Tuesday May 25th, 20.00h
IJsselmeervogels - Barendrecht

Standings
1. IJsselmeervogels 2 - 4 (2-1)
2. Barendrecht 2 - 2 (1-1)
3. Excelsior'31 2 - 1 (2-3)

Sunday
Saturday May 22nd

2. AFC 2 - 2 (1-1)
3. De Treffers 2 - 1 (2-4)

- - - - -

Very important home win from Gemert versus De Treffers. They get now AFC at home and De Treffers away in the last match. If they beat AFC they'll always finish above them and they'll need a draw in Groesbeek at the last day. If AFC and De Treffers draw on Thursday a home win from Gemert versus AFC secures the title already.

Things are looking good for my dreamfinal Gemert-IJsselmeervogels .

Go Gemert!

Vogels are almost there, they've hammered Barendrecht at home, 4-0 it was yesterday evening.
A draw in Rijssen is enough for them to celebrate Saturday.

As expected, AFC are out of the title challenge, yesterday they lost 1-4 at home to De Treffers, who're immediately a favourite again for the Sunday title.

Gemert has got two games left, they host AFC and visit De Treffers in the last match. De Treffers only have got the last match left, while they're equal in points with Gemert. At this moment their goal difference is better... that's going to be a cracking game in Groesbeek next week . Knoert's gonna be there probably .

What will decide if they end equal in points? Simply goaldifference of the 4 games in total or the results the head-to-heads?

Is there a Sunday equivalent of the Saturday http://www.voetbalopzaterdag.com/ site?

That's neither clear for me, after every match the teams have to take penalties, that for sure is decisive in some way, but I don't know if goal difference or the meetings versus eachother count before that...

Unfortunately not.

For Zondag C there's http://www.zondaghoofdklasse.nl/ and they do a very little bit about A and B too. In the past they did A and B but the guys who're doing it are all fans from C teams so they stopped it.

For A and B there's no site with all info like VoZ. http://www.hoofdklasse.org/ are good with transfernews etc. but not with statistics...

I think I've read somewhere that the penalty kicks are used to decide the group in the case of a tie. I believe that in these cases, there will always be ten kicks, and it is possible for a shoot out to end in a tie. As a general rule, they do not have to be taken if there is no chance of them being needed. (I cannot confirm this).

Since IJsselmeervogels have 7 points from 3 games. Barendrecht have two points from 3 games, while Excelsior have only one point, but two games left. There would have been no need for a penalty shoot out after IJsselmeervogels v Barendrecht, as Barendrecht couldn't finish top.
The next game is Excelsior'31 v IJsselmeervogels and I would assume a shoot out only if Excelsior win (as they can then finish level with IJsselmeervogels). Any other result hands the title to IJsselmeervogels.

I'm a bit right now, but after every game the teams take penalties, no matter what the result is. So after the first game, second, third etc. etc.
In some way, these penalties will be decisive in case of a tie in the standings, however, goal difference or results versus eachother may be prior to the penalties.

Anyway, will do some research in the next few days.

btw, if IJsselmeervogels draw in Rijssen, of course they will be overall Saturday winners, which they surely will be, and don't need to take these penalties anymore...

Gemert - Vogels :hopeful:

Just looking at the results today.
One acheivement sticks out as the most amazing.
fc Horst (Ermelo) - from Zaterdag 2G.
They won 5 of their first 8 games of the season, won the first period championship.
But then proceeded not to win for the rest of the season, so ended up winning 5, drawing 8, losing 9 - finishing 9th out of 12 - just two points above the bottom two.
But they beat the other period champions and have been promoted to next season's Eerst Klasse!!!!

Well done to them, but winning five games out of 22 surely doesn't bode well for next season against better quality opposition?

What a great format we've got here, haha. If they can beat the other period champions they must be able to gather some points in Eerse Klasse. Perhaps they started to lay back after winning the first period to be on fire in the playoffs?

IJsselmeervogels officially have won the Saturday title. They've beaten Excelsior'31 0-1 today in Rijssen, it's their 15th overall Saturday title, respect!

Probably I forgot goals scored (?)

Gemert has beaten AFC 1-0 today, so Gemert are three points in advance over De Treffers, and have a goaldifference of 4 scored and 1 against, De Treffers scored 6 and got 5 against...

When De Treffers beat Gemert next (probably) Saturday by a 1 goal margin they've got an equal goal difference, but more goals scored... but the penaltyserie between those was won by Gemert...

Anyway, I'll root for Gemert...

On another hand, IJsselmeervogels are the best ever Saturday-Hoofdklasse team, De Treffers are the best ever Sunday-Hoofdklasse team, it would be a perfect final for the last ever 3rd-level Hoofdklasse season...

According to www.zondaghoofdklasse.nl and www.hoofdklasse.org goals scored doesn't count so if they know where they're talking about De Treffers need to beat Gemert by a two goal margin to win the overall title.

Saturday De Treffers and Gemert have drawn 2-2 in a very entertaing match. The home side were 2-0 up and then saw a possibly decisive third goal unfairly disallowed. Then they collapsed, saw three red cards and the match finished 2-2 for about 4000 fans.

Gemert will now face IJsselmeervogels at home next Saturday

Come on Gemert!!!
