All regional champions will play an overall championship for the overall cup after the season.

12/05 - sv Deurne (4) - HVCH (5)

My own team got beaten by Deurne in the previous round

Oost
FC Presikhaaf (6) - HSC'21 (3) 1-3
??/?? SVZW (4) - Quick'20 (3)

Noord
06/05 Urk 2 (R) - Sneek WZ (3)
06/05 SC Genemuiden (3) - ACV (3) 1-0

Final: 15/05, 15.00h

- - - - - - - - - -

Some interesting teams qualified for the KNVB Beker next season already, even two sixth level teams and one fifth level team will join them!
Also, VC Vlissingen who play at the old Irislaan ground, where they played professional football at the beginning of the 1990s. Also UVS got a nice ground called Kikkerpolder in Leiden.

Awww, I think the equivalent thread last summer was where I first plucked up the courage to post!

Interesting to see that many Hoofdklasse teams haven't qualified for 2010/2011.
Do you think that's because they've been more focused on getting into the TopKlasse?

With so many 4th, 5th and 6th tier teams involved, how many games will have double-figure wins in the first round?

The Irislaan sounds just like my home town in Wales!

I've never been to Wales, but is it as glamorous as this?

If you're interested, here's a picture thread on the town of Vlissingen that I made on a different forum a while ago: click here.

Have never been in Vlissingen yet so it should be a dream when Utrecht of VVV draw VCV, however, first they have to survive the first round between amateurs...

Well most Hoofdklasse teams are qualified in the end, all champions are qualified just as all period winners and amateur-cup-semi-finalists. When a team qualifies double or triple, their Hoofdklasse group gets an extra spot.

Concrete, 48 amateur teams will start in the KNVB Beker '10/'11, therefrom 12 come from a league lower than Hoofdklasse (but several go up to Hoofdklasse next season).

About the 12th spot there's something extra to tell, the KNVB decided no reserve-teams are allowed anymore in the KNVB Beker, so Urk 2 can't qualify. That means the other participating losing quarter-finalists will play a competition for that spot, these are PKC '83 (3), Harkemase Boys (3), WKE (3) and DIO Oosterwolde (6).

So in the end probably only 11 teams who qualified from leagues lower than Hoofdklasse will be in.

Anyway, when all qualifiers are known I'll try to open the KNVB Beker '10/'11 thread, it's all quite complex right now...

Probably not many because only amateur teams meet in the first round .

Zuid II

sv Deurne (4) - Blauw Geel'38 (4) 6-2
SVME (5) - Groene Ster (4) 2-4

And I typed the Groene Ster result while we knew that one already...

I meant this one...
Zuid II
quarter final
Wilhelmina'08 (5) - PSV'35 (5) 3-1

So Wilhelmina from Weert will be in the cup too

Craig, hmmmmmm

Rotterdam: 1H30
The Hague: 1H50
Schiphol: 2H20
Amsterdam: 2H40

Small country, short trips lol. Shortest way for you (and cheapest) is to fly from Gatwick to Rotterdam-The Hague Airport and take the train from Rotterdam Centraal.

If you're interested

Perhaps Marinus can come over to Vlissingen and catch as well a first round KNVB Beker match at the Irislaan .

Tonight SC Genemuiden qualified for the final in Noord, they've beaten ACV 1-0 at home.

I was actually thinking tonight that we should all get together at a match sometime - as many of us as possible, an Xtratime meet-up.

If there is an first round Beker game at the Irislaan, I will try everything to be there.

Is anyone else in?

Irislaan is on my Dutch 'wishlist' of stadiums to visit, but it depends as well on the exact date, kickoff time and the schedule of my own club(s).

Best possible scenario would be a VC Vlissingen away game in the first round, they advance and drawing a home game versus either Utrecht of VVV .

So we got one winner so far. DOVO won in West I and qualified for the overall cup. Nice for them as they got a disappointing season and are in the relegation playoffs.
As we already knew from both Zuid I and II there will come a participant from lower than Hoofdklasse level.

What I forgot to mention btw, FC Presikhaaf is coached by the one and only 'fat bastard' Johnny van Beukering .

Overview, except one all regional cup finals have been played...

West I
DOVO - Zwaluwen'30 4-1 a.e.t

West II
Voorschoten'97 - UVS 4-0

Zuid I
VC Vlissingen - vv Dongen 0-2

Zuid II
Groene Ster - Deurne 3-5 a.e.t.

Oost
HSC'21 - Quick'20 ...*

Noord
Sneek WZ - SC Genemuiden 2-1

Draw overall amateur cup...

Quarter final
A - 29-05 Deurne - Voorschoten '97 14.30
B - 29-05 Sneek WZ - DOVO 14.30

Semi final
C - 05-06 Winner A - Dongen 14.30
D - 05-06 Winner B - Quick '20 / HSC '21 14.30

Final
E - 12-06 - Winnaar D - Winnaar C 14.30

* The Oost-final was originally scheduled for today at Quick'20s little stadium. However, Quick'20 planned a lot of other activities at their ground and weren't able to host the final. Instead they wanted to host the match at a bijveld (what's the translation of this?) at their place. Of course HSC'21 and KNVB didn't agree, the game will now be played at next Saturday in Haaksbergen.

Unbelievable...

Quick'20 went to court and the judge decided they're right. The match will be played now at a bijveld at Quick'20s complex...

Also the date is rescheduled, wednesday june 2nd.
