Koeman sacked

so a victorious return for Co?

or will AZ go more small-time like their ambitions apparently have to be with the demise of Scheringa and the DSB bank.

A further dent in Koeman's CV btw. He hasn't last for more than 6 months in each of his last 2 jobs

No surprise really. Although getting sacked at DSB doesn't have to be such a bad thing. Perhaps he will have a hero's and Klokkenluider return like Frank de Grave, but perhaps and most likely not. With the leaves falling on the rails again it's also no time to jump on another train.

Wonder who they will bring in. Co needs money to pay off Porto still and dont know any other good coaches who are still free.

Just read the news, haha, brilliant. I can just imagine how red that swollen pighead will get. Humiliated for all of Holland and like everyone so far said, it was to be expected.

De Koeman brothers would go toe to toe with Gullit and Van Basten in the worst Dutch coach contest and looking at it from AZ's perspective; you got rid of him..

Probably for some big money you don't have though, but those are worries for later, just like Top Oss.

brothers?

Erwin rocks p it's been quite some time since Hungary were competitive in qualifying. Yes I know they once reached the play-offs before losing 100-0 to Yugoslavia before France 98 but then they weren't as impressive as now imo in qualifying.

Dude, Hungary has more potential than you give them credit for.

Do you remember him as coach? Example below.

Losing 4-1 to oh I don't know, Bulgaria, 'well I'm satisfied, that is probably our maximum, I will tell the guys I am proud'.

If this were FM, he'd have 1 in ambition. The dude would be satisfied coaching Barca, getting a draw in Zwolle. Not kidding you.

They still have Sandor Torghelle up front. I can't take them seriously p
but yeah they do have some handy players, especially that Nemeth guy Rafa's just let go off when he now only has Ngog to use

I'd be interested to know what'll happen if Erwin takes over at Groningen. I think he could do well there...at a smaller club. Feyenoord with figures like Pi-air, whom he makes one of his mates lol , probably no indeed.

A lot of young players coming through, you want to build them up ideally, give them confidence. Won't ever happen with Erwin, he is scared of his own shadow, unlike his brother. The more I think of it, the more I think they are siamese twins, split at birth, even if Erwin is older IRL. One is a f*cking scared woman, while the other is arrogant, aggressive and just plain overzealous.

BTW, Ronald Koeman = de new Aad de Mos? Puked out by all, only to become analyticus in the end?

yeah lol though at least Aad can spot some players (Claudemir and others) and I actually find him interesting to listen to with his worldwide experience and fiery character. Ronald's just a joke. I still hope a premiership club gives him a job though. Would be hilarious

Ronald Koeman verbaasd over ontslag

Holy crap! I return to Earth after a weekend and suddenly we've played and lost a game on Friday (who came up with that) and we've sacked the coach!

Did NOT see that coming. Don't get me wrong: I'm quite thrilled we got rid of the clueless character but it's very strange he would be sacked at this point with the important Standard game coming up.

Oh well, let's all get behind Shota Arveladze

There's rumors of getting Dick Advocaat - let's not get carried away here. You don't improve by replacing one useless coach with another. Either we get Co Adriaanse, or we give Shota the rest of the season. Let's see what he can do!

He's got a point though. But hey, it's easier to fire the coach than 15 players.

lol

going from Koeman to Advocaat is quite the improvement IMO. You might not agree because Advocaat 'only' managed to get to the semi's with a bunch of primadonna's, but he'll get you back on track, mark my words.

I was right about Koeman wasn't I?
